We wandered around downtown Annecy looking for a place to eat and enjoy a glass of wine. Most of the highly-rated restaurants we came across felt like tourist traps—overpriced with food that didn’t look very appealing. Then we stumbled upon this restaurant, and it was an absolute gem: the food was outstanding, and the prices were very fair. Truly the best choice we could have made for lunch.
We ordered the entrecôte, which was excellent, but they also offer a daily menu that includes dessert at a great price. Many of the other guests around us chose that option, and their dishes looked fantastic as well.

Lovely calm and cosy atmosphere – an oasis amidst the tourist chaos. Great menu and tasty well presented food served with joy and better English than we had French. Definitely recommend – a wonderful final meal to top off our holiday.

We loved the two female servers. However, the steak that I ordered was not a good cut of meat. The pork plums was better. The fries were absolutely delicious.

Great food. English menu available. The waitresses have some English skills and are very personable. It was busy and there were only two waitresses so there were some delays but they did well, considering. Nice place.

The restaurant was okay overall. The food was fine but nothing particularly special. The staff were friendly and kind, but unfortunately there was an issue. I was served a small pot with vegetables without being warned that it was extremely hot, and I ended up burning myself. They did not have any burn ointment, only ice to offer.
Overall, it was an acceptable experience, but they definitely need to improve attention to customer safety.

My first ever negative review, but it’s worth warning others before they eat here.
My food was stone cold/frozen in the middle (I can see lots of other negative reviews also relate to undercooked food). The waiter was incredibly rude throughout our meal, he didn’t crack a smile once, didn’t say more than a couple of words to us and when we returned the food (as it was inedible) he didn’t offer any apology. They expected us to pay in full, not even an offer of a small discount/free coffee for their poor quality food. Extremely disappointed. There are much much better restaurants in Annecy – do not waste your time and money here!
