Bombaywala & Co. is an absolute gem for authentic Indian street food. Every bite transported us straight to Mumbai’s chaat lanes. The Pani Puri was perfectly crispy with explosive, tangy-spicy pani that hit all the right spots. Samosa Chole Chaat and Dahi Puri were loaded with flavor…..crunchy, creamy, sweet, and savory in perfect harmony. The Qutub Minar was a towering masterpiece of sev, yogurt, and chutneys…..Dabeli was spot-on with its buttery pav and peanutty masala, and the Kacchie Keri Masala Soda was refreshingly nostalgic. Finished with the creamiest Rabri Falooda and a refreshing Paan that tasted just like the real deal. Everything was fresh, authentic, and bursting with desi vibes. The staff is super friendly too…..Hands down the best chaat spot in NJ…..already planning my next visit. Highly recommend.

The food was cloying. Not able to eat much! Also, we went around 5 pm (internet says they are open) and they were open. But whatever we try to order, they say the kitchen is not started yet! I was really in a mood to hog some food and stress eat. First, none of the things I ordered in the menu were not available because the kitchen will start late!? Second, the food we got was not very commendable!

But the ambience was excellent and the service was good too!!

This place is authentic and service is excellent .. ambiance is fun like has a Mumbai kinda theme..service was excellent .. they explained the menu . BUT food was very very spicy for my palate and also too much butter perhaps I felt they should ask the spice level may be

We ordered cheese Pav bhaji and masala cheese sandwich. This is worth a visit with customization of spice level

Very tasty chats,

Misal pav was tasty and spicy – almost mumbai-made authentic,

The ambience is really clean, well-lit, has custom interiors with an auto, bangle wall and decorations.

Price is a bit on the higher side but aligns to the clean and custom decorations.

I’m literally writing this review while still eating because the food is that good and I couldn’t wait
Started with the Raj Kachori—super fresh, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. The Frankie was amazing too, packed well and absolutely delicious.
Still waiting on the Paneer Chilli and Pav Bhaji, but if the first dishes are any indication, I already know they’re going to be fire
Authentic taste, great quality, and totally worth it. Highly recommend Bombaywala & Co for anyone craving real Indian street food!

Absolutely Love This Place – Authentic Indian Street Food

I’ve been to Bombaywala & Co. 3–4 times, and I honestly love, love, love this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and feels just like authentic Indian street food.

Their Vada Pav is a must-try — the bun is incredibly soft, fresh, and flavorful, exactly like you get in India. The Punjabi sabji is amazing, and the Pav Bhaji is rich, buttery, and perfectly spiced.

Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side, and the quantity is slightly less, but the quality of the food is pure and excellent, which makes it worth it.

Overall, an amazing place for authentic flavors.
100% recommended — I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Decor is interesting and fun. Food tasted good. Chai not recommended. They should not put the pink syrup on top of kulfi, it completely masked the real taste of kulfi.

We asked for a side of cut onions to go with chole as usually they are served with it. We were charged more than $3 for like a half cut onion.

My wife and I were in Paramus and decided to try this place out after seeing the reviews on Google. We were quite disappointed on multiple facets.

i. The service was atrocious. They served our beverages after we were done with the meals. When I asked to cancel the beverage order, the manager’s response was, “we are not a fine dining restaurant, and we can serve in whatever order we wish.” When I said I would write this in my review, his response was “that’s ok, you can check Google reviews and our customers have already complained about this.” That’s a very nonchalant way of saying, “we don’t care!”

ii. The food was quite mediocre. It was tasteless.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
