We got our wedding cake and cupcakes from Cake & Icing and they were all INCREDIBLE. Laura was so friendly and helpful throughout the process and we had so much fun meeting with her for our tasting. She was flexible with flavors and various colors and does everything to ensure that it is all exactly the way you want it (plus it’s delicious!)

If you like sweets, this is the place to go. We ordered our wedding cake, and every step from the tasting to the day of set-up was perfect. Everything we tasted felt like it couldn’t be beat, and then the next cake beat it. Laura is so incredibly sweet, and she explained to us the process and made sure that our cake would be exactly what we were looking for (which was not an easy task). Me and my now-wife could not stop talking about how perfectly our cake turned out on the day of our wedding after being put together by these wonderful people. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend Cake & Icing for anything bakery related. They were helpful, fairly priced, and most importantly absolutely delicious.

Here and couldn’t have asked for anywhere better. They were all gluten free and you absolutely couldn’t tell ( even my guests couldn’t tell). I had a rustic theme cake and originally ran out of burlap for the cake, and somehow she made it work and there was burlap on both cakes. Which just made me super happy and grateful. She went the extra mile, but didn’t have to. I would recommend to anyone. Couldn’t have asked for better! Everyone was talking about the cupcakes and how good they were.Super
Reasonable on pricing also. Thank you so much for being apart of our big day.

I arrived at the bakery and the ladies seemed to have a bit of an attitude at first which was unprofessional. When they realized that I, as well as the other 4 customers in the store, were there for the first time ever, they seemed to sweeten up a little bit. Anyhow, I ordered my son’s smash cake on 6/27. His first birthday is 7/22 so we scheduled a 10AM pickup on 7/19. I asked for a chocolate smash cake with black and white checkered icing and for his name to be written on it in blue. I went in to pick the cake up and they said it was not ready for me. In fact, they were just starting on it. Keep in mind, they closed at 1PM, so they had 3 hours at best to get the cake done for me. They had my order for 22 days so this should not have happened. Shortly after leaving, she called me and asked if she could wait until Monday to do the cake (they’re not even open on Monday, mind you) because she wanted to order a sugar sheet to wrap the cake instead of her having to do the icing by hand. Her reasoning behind this was that the oven was on since she was baking cakes and the humidity was causing the icing on my cake to melt. Why you would have ovens on while trying to ice cakes is beyond me. That just seems like a lack of experience and planning on her end. I said no, I want the cake done today as we planned and I want the icing done by hand as we talked about. She said, “okay, I’ll keep messing with it, but it’s not going to look as good.” I received the cake shortly before they closed. You can see where the icing was melting a bit but more importantly, you can see where she really rushed it instead of taking her time. I am glad I got the cake I asked for, even though it looks pretty sloppy. I would not return to this place given all of the trouble I had, though. I was really worried there for a bit that I wouldn’t even have a cake for his birthday, so I’m glad they came through, although it was really by the skin of her teeth that she came through for me on this one. If I had to describe the people here, I would say: unprofessional, procrastinating, lacking willingness to take accountability, no time management nor organizational skills, and they rush on the quality of their products. As I said, I’m glad I received the cake, but there are too many other places to go that take pride in their work. I would much rather take my business elsewhere from here on out.

We LOVED our wedding cake from Cake & Icing. When we were in the process of tastings, no one came close to touching how good their cakes were, and we tried a lot of places! I come from a long line of bakers, so picking a good bakery was really important to me. We picked 3 flavors, and each of them were perfect. I would highly recommend Cake & Icing!
