Absolutely lovely place! The service was great and welcoming, which made me feel like at home. Tasty food, and it was such a shame that the portions aren’t a bit bigger. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a cosy restaurant with delicious sea food and amazing atmosphere.

My BF and I always favour eating fish when we re on a seaside trip. This restaurant didn’t disappoint.
It was all deliciously cooked and our waitress was both lovely and attentive.

A fantastic experience from booking in person 24hrs before to leaving the restaurant. Managers Karl & Saffron together with our host for the meal Toby were so professional, attenive & friendly without being intrusive. The food was exquisite, one of the best seafood experiences ever. If ever in Weymouth a not to be missed experience. Thanks Rockfish for making my 74th Bithrday celebrations such a memorable occasion

Wonderful meal. We visited here after a freinds recommendation and so glad we did. The staff are brilliant, they’re attentive, interactive, but without being intrusive at the same time.
The food is sublime, locally caught fish, perfectly prepared without being overcomplicated.
Definitely reserve a table so not to be disappointed. Even with wine, and digestives our bill came in at less than £60 a head so although not cheap, its great value considering the quality.
Looking forward to our next visit when we’re in the area again

There is comprehensive menu. In addition, there is a paper table cloth with a list of additional fish dishes. The catch of the day fishes are marked by the waiter and some more catches nicely explained.
We had catch of the day dishes. The fish is absolutely fresh and delicious.
The service is very competent, nice, efficient and attentive.
There is a standard disabled toilet well accessible and nicely hidden.

An up market fish and chips but its also a bit more than this as they do some stunning fish choices from Dover Sole to Hake. And the cost is more than reasonable. I have enjoyed every visit and will continue to so as there’s always more to try and enjoy. A very beachy feel mixed with a French café.

We had the most amazing meal here the other night. My second visit to a Rockfish restaurant and I wasn’t disappointed. The food was cooked to perfection. Toby, our waiter, was attentive and polite. Intolerances were catered for with care and reassurance. Perfect!

After 10 years of constant disappointment, I have finally found the best “Fish n chips” in UK.
Honestly, this place gets 11/10 on everything, from the atmosphere to the service to the exceptionally fresh and AMAZING food. Can’t find a single bad thing to say about it !!
Also,not related to the food but very important, before I ordered i checked the toilets………5 star hotel level of cleanliness. I do this at every restaurant I dine at and it has saved me from a lot of bad experiences. If they keep the toilets this clean you can only imagine the standard they have for the kitchen and food. I had high expectations as I travelled from Reading and after this experience I will definitely make the drive again!!!
(PS: if management sees this, can you PLEASE tell me where you get those pickled green peppers )

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. I had the 12oz fried Haddock which had batter crispy and light, with the fish soft and flakey. A brilliant place to eat. Also bonus points for unlimited chips that come as standard with the fish or as an additional side.
