Went through the drive thru. I ordered the $6 box special with 2pc spicy dark meat, mash potatoes, red and. rice. When I got home, I opened the box. Instead of asking me to change my chicken pieces, they took it upon themselves to give me a spicy breast and not spicy thigh. I got angry. The mash potatoes had little gravy. The red beans and rice were soupy and horrible. I will be contacting corporate office. I don’t play about my money. Popeyes on Wallisville Road had me wasting my money. They need new management and workers. From the complaints on, Google, I’m not the only unhappy customer.

Yesterday I asked for the advertised family meal I saw on current television commercials. The young man that was taking my order told me it was only for chicken. Really? So what does family meal mean? I ordered the side and biscuits (for a meal-8 piece). Well since my spouse was waiting in the car I didn’t feel like having him wait longer than necessary. I didn’t question press the issue a 3rd time. He doesn’t care much for fried chicken and it was me he was trying to please. We had just returned from out of town and were hungry so we went home to eat our meal. However, it still didn’t seem right to me. I started looking up in their website and sure enough, there was the advertisement about what I had asked for. Also, all evening I kept seeing the advertisement on television commercials. Today I spoke to a manager about the huge error and she told me all she could do was give me a refund if I brought the food back. That’s ridiculous . I told her we ate most of it. All she said was that’s all she could do. Extremely poor customer service and very poor employee training where they don’t even know their specials and then do not honor them. If I want Popeyes chicken, it will be elsewhere. If their District Manager Quincy knew about this, he would be embarrassed. Beware of this location. If you’re tired and don’t feel like cooking your own fried chicken, go somewhere else altogether or a different location for chicken. I know I will and I’m a rewards member. Bye Wallisville St location. This was pitiful.

I ordered a kids meal and a 2 piece with 2 drumsticks. When I get home I discovered no fries or drink at in the kids meal and they gave me 2 thighs instead of drumsticks. I called back and spoke to Anna the manager and was told they will give me a replacement kids meal and chicken. I don’t live by the restaurant. When I went back for a refund they didn’t want to refund me. I explained the grandkids are at their home so I don’t need it anymore. Finally they agreed to refund me for everything but the drink after a long discussion. The male employee came and stood next to me to try and intimidate me because I’m a woman. I called the police and was eventually refunded my money. I was told to never come back. The employee told the police if I came back trespassing charges would be filed on me. Why would I want to go back? This is not the first time my order was wrong. While I was there other customers came back because their orders was incorrect. Some of the employees are very rude. While I was waiting in line everybody was speaking English, but when I explained what I needed the conversation was now in Spanish.

I pulled into the drive thru and ordered 12, all flat wings. I already understood there was going to be a wait, they told me 10 minutes and I ended up waiting around 20. In the time it took them to bring me my wings I watched a whole firework show AND wrote a 900 word document .

I personally have not had any issues with this location when it comes to my food but when it comes to the service…that’s where it fails.
None have been rude (so far) but they do have the worst service. They all have a face that stated that they hate their job.
I also agree with some other reviews that prices have gone up a lot. I paid around $30 for a 12 piece meal.

Full staff and most of them were negligent of the customers in the building. No communication within the staff to get orders out. Had to wait 40+ minutes for a DoorDash order that had only 3 chicken strips.

We had this issue before so we stopped going but we decided to give it another try after what was like a year. But seriously these wings must be off of a small quail or something, they’re so small and not to mention dry. And they still counted it as 2 pieces. On the upside the young lady that took my order was very well mannered and polite.

This is the WORST Popeyes, don’t come here! I ordered the #5 shrimp and tenders. Wow they screwed me over. There were no shrimp, just crumbs and burnt pieces. Everything was cold. And management didn’t care at all. Even the drunk was flat.

Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and when I got home and opened it I saw someone took a bite of my food. Looked over it and there were teeth marks. This is straight up disrespectful. Don’t ever come here.
