✨ A Delightful Step Back in Time at 50’s Prime Time Café ✨
Dining at 50’s Prime Time Café in Disney’s Hollywood Studios felt like stepping straight into the charm of the 1950s. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by nostalgic décor and black-and-white televisions playing classic shows, creating a warm, fun, and truly immersive atmosphere.
We had a wonderful time, made even better by the excellent service from Caleb, who was friendly, attentive, and added to the overall experience. The food was delicious, and the price-to-value ratio felt very reasonable, especially considering it’s located inside a Disney park. The dessert was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to end the meal.
We made a reservation, and that made all the difference — entry was quick and smooth. Without a reservation, the wait time can be quite long, so I highly recommend booking ahead.
Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience full of nostalgia, great food, and Disney magic. I would definitely come back!

We ate at the 50’s Prime Time Café at Hollywood Studios and it truly felt like stepping back into a 1950s kitchen. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re traveling back to the past.
The food was classic, comforting, home-cooked style — the kind of meals that feel familiar and filling. Everything we had was good, and my daughter said the meatloaf was the best she’s ever had.
The experience is part of the fun here, so make sure your kids know their manners — no elbows on the table, no walkie-talkies at dinner, and you’d better clean your plate! It all adds to the charm and laughs.
Overall, it was a fun, memorable experience with good food and lots of personality. Definitely worth checking out if you want something different and nostalgic while at Hollywood Studios.

Absolutely blown away. This was our second time eating at this restaurant. First time was back in 2024 and now 2026. Both times had a great experience with staff and the food is literally country comfort food. This time however was a bit more special. As we had Patty from Little Chute, WI as our server and she was AMAZING ! Went above and beyond to make the experience great and even went and got us the light cube to go in our drinks after being super observant and noticing our pin which was a celebration pin for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Beyond impressed, the tik tok videos about ranking the restaurants at Hollywood I can 100% agree with 50’s Prime Time being at the top.

Wife and I did the Cafe as part of the Fantasmic show package (recommended for a first class show experience). The food was excellent. Wife had the fried chicken and I had the sampler with fried chicken, pot roast and meatloaf. It’s a lot of food – especially the fried chicken meal which could feed a family. The service here is famously “with attitude” of a 50’s diner. Some servers were laying it on thick, while ours not as much so, but he was a character for sure. The server shtick is not really our style, but our guy was okay. The decor is like…well, a diner, along with fake old TVs on the wall.

Went to the 50’s Prime Time Café at Hollywood Studios and I thought it was pretty fun. The place is super cute inside — all retro, pastel colors, old TVs, that whole 50s house vibe. The staff plays along with the theme, giving you little “warnings” and joking around, but it’s all light and fun.
The food was ok, nothing amazing, but fine for what it is. Service was ok too, and the prices felt reasonable. It’s a good spot for a quick meal if you’re already in the park and want something different. But if the wait time is huge, I don’t think it’s worth standing around forever — there are other options. Still, if you can get in without waiting too long, it’s a fun themed experience and worth trying once.

AMAZING FOOD I was not disappointed by the hype and the reservation was so worth it! The beef was so tender and so was the fried chicken. Fried to perfection. The corn bread was also amazing and so perfectly baked. Restaurant theme was on point, and the waiters were super funny. My waiter was extremely kind and did not scold us at all, however we didn’t get the sticker at the end for finishing our food

I wasn’t expecting much, but I was quite pleased with my meal here. If you’re not on a Disney dining plan, they only have a prix-fixed menu which consisted of and entree and dessert. I got the A Sampling of Mom’s Favorite Recipes entree. This had Golden-fried Chicken, Fork Tender Pot Roast, and Traditional Meatloaf. The fried chicken was just fantastic- one of the best ones I’ve had (this is coming from a devoted Popeye’s fan). The pot roast and meatloaf were great as well. The only complaint was the dessert – they were just okay to us. The chocolate-peanut butter layered cake was a bit too rich!

We had lunch there today and our server was Daniel H. What a fantastic experience. He was over the top with his character and his energy level and it made all the difference. He was so great with my kid and that mad it extra magical for him as well.
We had a pasta dish that was supposed to be “non spicy” but someone messed up and we got a spicy one. He jumped in and fixed the issue.
The food was great, the atmosphere was cool as could be. Definitely a great experience at Disneys Hollywood Studios!!!

Great all around experience and pretty good value for money compared to most other Disney dining options. Everyone in our group was happy with their food choices and service was fast and atmosphere was very warm and welcoming! Would suggest the corn bread, fried chicken and pot roast as some of their better selections!
