Casa Mia’s opened as a small carryout in 1986 serving the best pizza, pasta, and subs to the White Marsh area. Since then, we added a full service restaurant.

I go to White Marsh once a week for work. I dub this day my “chicken cheesesteak” day. That’s because I have to go to Casa Mia’s and get my usual chicken cheesesteak. This to me is, so far, the best chicken cheesesteak I have had in Maryland.
The bread is toasted, plenty of meat and toppings, and the flavor is so good! They make mine correctly every time. It is simply a joy to eat.
They also have really good cream of crab soup and pretty good cheesesteak as well. I have not tried to many other items on their menu, but they do have an extensive menu that includes crab cakes.
I have never been in their dining area, so I could not rate that accurately, but the service when I come in is always great! I would certainly recommend this if you want a quick bite or if you want a meal. The chicken cheesesteak and cream of crab are certainly worth every penny!

Normally enjoy the food here and get carry out most of the time. I also like just getting meatballs and meat sauce from here to make a quick dinner. Not sure if they are cutting back or there’s a new chef but the two meat sauce sides I purchased this time were meager and oily/watery compared to every other time. This could be just a bad night or whatever, I get that so I will try one more time at some point. Just hoping not to count this restaurant out for good.
Tried the cheesesteak wrap but it was just a messy half empty undercooked shell. Forgot the fries. I will say that even though it was messy and poorly wrapped compared to others, the wrap was pretty good

The set up of this establishment is interesting. As you walk in there is a liquor store up front, and a counter to order take out foods. As you walk back towards the back of the establishment they have a dining room and a bar set up . ( pictures do to it being crowded at the bar during this visit ) . They also have several tvs set up on multiple walls and it’s easy to watch your favorite sports game ! We were seated by a waitress when we approached the seating sign. Several booths and tables were set up in the dining area . We ordered our drinks and they came within 5 minutes of ordering . My girlfriend ordered the southwest egg rolls as an appetizer as we contemplated the rest of the menu. We decided to order a 16inch cheese pizza, a 16 inch pepperoni pizza , a kids cheeseburger meal and some crab dip . In about 13 minutes the egg rolls came out as we were starting to eat them however the rest of the food came out , ( so we didn’t have a chance to enjoy the appetizer). The pizza was a fresh dough and the pepperoni was the little pepperoni minis. My kids enjoyed the pizza as each slice was big and made them full. The crab dip was good. And the kids cheeseburger must have been really good because he wanted another one. The bathroom was clean and was easy to access in the back of the dining area for patrons to visit . Over all this was a good experience the only complaint we really had was the food came out way too fast after the appetizer . Thanks to our waitress ,( Kathy) for keeping our drinks filled and being pleasant during this visit!

Update 10/26/25 Had lunch, cheese steak sub without bread. Kinda dry, but I asked our server for extra marinara sauce. After adding that, it was delicious.
Always excellent. We stop by often for the excellent lump crab cakes. Today, They have specials on weeknights. Monday is half price pizza day. I had pizza.My wife had a crab cake platter. Both were delicious.
They have a full bar. Casa Mia is now the kind of place where you can go for a sports bar experience, a normal bar experience, or a nice little Italian restaurant experience. And you can also get truly excellent Maryland crab dishes. They also have both outdoor and indoor dining.
If you’re in the White Marsh area, Casa Mia is always a great choice for lunch or dinner.

Ok the crab cake is pretty good. For the price I think the sides should not be in plastic containers. They are not fresh. Yes it is a sub shop but on the restaurant side how about fresh daily sides not in plastic tubs. Also upgrade the draft beers. Other than that its OK

Casa Mia’s is definitely a go-to for a local crab cake at a reasonable price. The seafood quesadillia was absolutely delicious and enough to share. My friend said the seafood mac and cheese was really good as well. Ms. Sherry was friendly and attentive. She’s an awesome server.
It’s a small restaurant in the back of a store but it’s so worth it.

Chose to bring my mom here for lunch on a Sunday as part of our post-Christmas outing. I had never been into Cara Mia, but my old work used to order phenomenal take-out / catering from here so I knew the food would be good. Our waitress Holly was lovely and the food was pretty good – huge portions if you’re into that! This is not a “date night” kind of place, though. And you literally walk through a liquor store to get into the bar/restaurant.

I came here while visiting the area for work. The training I was in ordered lunch from here everyday and I thought the food was very good (I tried the buffalo chicken salad and meatball sub), so I decided to go for dinner. I had the crab cakes and they were outstanding! The place was filled with locals who are clearly regulars but they were all friendly, as was the service. Definitely recommend if in the area.

Can not express how disappointed I am in ordering carry out from here tonight. We ordered 2 crab cakes for carry out only to drive 20 min home to find out we only received 1 of our crab cakes! We called to see if there was anyway someone could deliver us the crab cake they forgot to give us and we were told no because we didn’t pay for delivery! Long story short we were refunded our money for the 1 crab cake tonight only to start eating the mashed potatoes and find a huge chunk of paper in the mashed potatoes! The crab cake we did receive was delicious like usual but this was such an upsetting experience from a place we used to love and come to all the time. Workers on the phone were also extremely rude but manager did work with us when I showed up at the restaurant to show them the mashed potatoes.
