The food was mediocre at best, the food wasn’t hot. The taste was pretty good tbh. Chicken and mutton was pretty cool. The draw back was the food not being hot. The ambience could have been better. Decent variety too.

If I could give this restaurant 20 stars, I absolutely would. From the moment we walked in, we were swept into an atmosphere that was warm, inviting, and full of vibrant energy. The décor strikes the perfect balance between traditional charm and modern comfort—it’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and at ease.
Now let’s talk about the food—wow. Every dish was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection, and served in portions so generous we had leftovers to look forward to (and they were just as good the next day!). Each bite was a celebration of authentic Indian cuisine—rich, bold, and beautifully balanced.
The staff deserve a standing ovation. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, they guided us through the menu like seasoned culinary tour guides. Their recommendations were spot on, and their hospitality made the entire experience feel personal and special.
And the drinks! It was my first time trying Indian beer, and I was introduced to Taj Mahal—crisp, refreshing, and perfectly paired with the spices of the meal. It elevated the experience to a whole new level.
All in all, this restaurant didn’t just serve us a meal—it delivered an experience. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, I highly and most definitely recommend you give this gem a try.
This wasn’t just dinner—it was a memory in the making.

I took my folks to the weekend buffet and accidentally found their Tandoori sampler. I’m hooked! I’ve gotten it three times already. It’s a great plate of tandoori chicken, two kinds of boneless kebabs, and shrimp. Bonus: it’s basically the healthiest Indian restaurant food you can get.

Great menu, great food, and the kind of repeat worthy charm that sneaks up on you. My neighbor recommended this place, and since then I’ve basically become a regular by accident—we’ve been three times, and every visit has been a full win. The menu reads like a greatest hits album, and somehow everything that lands on the table tastes even better than it sounds.
There’s something especially delightful about a spot that nails consistency without ever feeling predictable. Each visit has had that same “oh wow, this is good” moment, the kind that makes you pause mid bite and mentally thank the person who told you to come here in the first place. At this point, I’m convinced my neighbor deserves a commission.
It’s the kind of place you start recommending to other people before you’ve even finished your meal. Warm atmosphere, reliably delicious dishes, and the dangerous potential to turn into your new go to without you realizing it. I can’t get enough—and honestly, I’m not trying to.

Went here for a weekday lunch with family and was very disappointed. The chicken drumsticks had a raw smell/taste, and both biryanis (Chicken Dum & Raju Gari Kodi) tasted almost the same — one with chewy boneless chicken, the other with bone-in. Buttermilk was okay, but the Masala Limca was awful, like old masala powder. The worst part was hygiene — the water glasses had a strong fishy smell. Overall, not worth it and wouldn’t recommend.

Finally, a fine dine Indian restaurant!

I absolutely love the ambiance. They have a beautiful bar with great drink options – and they use the best spirits and liqueur.

The food is amazing! There are a lot of options and they don’t disappoint at all!

Ordered through doordash and the food was really disappointing. We ordered gongura chicken curry and raju gari chicken biryani . The biryani was just some spiced rice with few old chicken pieces thrown in. On top of that, the gongura chicken was undercooked, the meat was still pink in the middle. Their quality has gone down a lot compared to before and its honestly concerning. This is a health concern.

This place has one of the best weekend buffets in town! The buffet is available on weekends from 12 PM to 3 PM, I’ve visited nearly 20 times over the past few months, and every single time it delivers the same amazing vibe with great music, friendly service, and delicious food.

The buffet dishes are absolutely worth trying — especially the goat pulao, chicken biryani, chicken 65, and a variety of flavorful tandoor-style chicken starters. The flavors feel truly authentic to South Indian cuisine, particularly from the Andhra and Telangana regions.

A special shoutout to their mutton pulao and mamsam roast pulao — both are packed with incredible spices and depth of flavor. The ingredients taste fresh, and each dish easily deserves a 10/10 rating.

Their vegetarian options are also plentiful and just as impressive, so everyone will find something to love. And don’t skip the Indian desserts — the payasam and fruit-based sweets are delicious, and their mango lassi is hands down the best I’ve ever had!

The entire buffet experience feels like a genuine taste of home, offering an authentic Indian dining experience that’s definitely worth the price. Highly recommended!

I recently enjoyed the buffet at Godavari, and I was particularly impressed by the rich, authentic flavors in all the mutton dishes—they truly stand out! The selection offers a solid variety of high-quality items, making it a satisfying meal overall. That said, the spread is a bit more limited compared to Naga’s buffet. If you’re craving flavorful Indian cuisine, this spot is definitely a great choice!

Not sure how to update review but here goes!

I’m loving Austin for the great diverse authentic food available. While nothing is perfect, I am really grateful for allowing Indian culture be shared—-its food. Many regions of India may differ in its staple but the buffet today was a slice I wasn’t expecting. The goat pujab was a great surprise. Amongst other things, I had little of everything and like most buffets, if you had a taste of everything, it is like trying to decide what’s your favorite and least. They had desserts, and the chai milk corner which I missed u til I was on my way out. And of course we came here for the chicken 777.. it was crowded but staff was efficient. My bf said it’s like being in a different country. With authentic Indian food. Crowded but not loud. Family groups everywhere just enjoying almost home cooked meal without the work.

Uber eats order. I had chicken 777 and garlic naan bread. Spicy and very flavorful. My cravings were satisfied! It was packed well and still warm. Can’t review ambiance for obvious reasons. My Indian acquaintances were right about this restaurant! Recommended!
