Once again, McMenamins never disappoints! The smash burger was super juicy and delicious, and the tater tots were also really tasty. The interior is very cozy and inviting. Totally recommended!

Maybe the single best place I’ve ever gotten to watch a Superbowl from! Atmosphere is great, seats are comfortable, there’s a narrow table in front of the seats so you can put your food or drinks somewhere while watching whatever is on. And, as always, the food and drink you expect at a McMenamins was enjoyable.

As long-time fans and passport holders of McMenamins, we’ve visited quite a few of their locations over the years, but this was actually one we hadn’t managed to check out until now . We stopped by fairly late in the evening for a late dinner, so the place was a bit quieter than usual.

The servers were friendly and polite, although they seemed a little distracted and possibly busy. For example, after our appetizer arrived we still hadn’t received water, utensils, or napkins, which made things a bit awkward at first ️. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was noticeable.

For our meal, we ordered one more classic-style dish and one of their specialty options. The food was definitely good and satisfying, though compared to some other McMenamins locations we’ve visited, it didn’t quite stand out as much. Still, the quality was solid and enjoyable .

The atmosphere felt a bit more low-key than what we usually experience at McMenamins spots, but considering the late hour and what looked like a slightly understaffed team, it made sense. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re looking for a relaxed meal with friendly staff and above-average pub-style food .

If someone is trying McMenamins for the first time, I might suggest visiting one of their more iconic locations first for the full experience. But if you already enjoy the brand and just want a solid, casual stop, this spot definitely gets the job done ✨.

Had a nice experience taking kids to a movie on a Friday afternoon. The service was friendly and timely. They could do a little better cleaning up piled up trays and trash but overall do a good job. The food was good for a movie theater and the beers/cocktails are a bit pricey but good. Overall I’d recommend coming here with kids to watch a show and have a meal… nice experience.

Love the decor. So much to look at while you’re there. Fun place to hang out and grab a bite. Best service I’ve had at McMenamins. I’m used to it being super slow. This was a nice change. The small size likely helps. I want to come back for a movie soon!

Me and my boyfriend have been going here for almost 2 years now, it’s our usual date night spot. We have had a couple issues throughout our times coming here, incorrect food, underdone burgers, cocktails not matching pictures… little things that us as gen-z tend to overlook to not make anyone feel bad. but a few weeks ago we decide to return after a few months of a break (we used to go WEEKLY mind you) and we get the same waitress we always get, she’s never really been friendly or welcoming to us but we notice she is with everyone else, we don’t really care we’re just there to eat but this time felt different. Besides the normal monotone quick answers and not checking on us, when we receive our food I notice my fries are wrong, who cares they’re just fries, but my cocktail didn’t come all cute which also who cares but i just wanted a nice picture of it because on the menu it looked super cute. As I try to eat my burger it is VERY overdone, makes me feel like i’m gonna throw up so i don’t finish any of my food and still don’t want to say anything because again im gen-z and feel bad. so me and my boyfriend order our usual brownie, that’s always good, we get the bill and he never tips on card always with cash and when this waitress sees no tip on the card reader she asks “how was your service” after seeing my barely touched food, him going through his wallet of cash, and i’m already visibly upset. we say it was fine and she just walks away, so i tell him just put a $5 cause that was weird and im just over her attitude. as we walk out the door my boyfriend says “she’s talking bad about us” so i ask him what he means and he said he overheard her talking to coworkers about how we got all of this food and didn’t tip. lol. okay girl whatever. i’m walking away crying now, we just got into a car accident a week before this and then my grandpa broke his hip a few days before, im distraught. later that night we notice we weren’t charged for our meal, so i thought she noticed something was wrong and comped us or something. nope, A FULL WEEK after we had been there we get charged. mind you no pending charges or anything, just a random charge? we will not be returning, which is a shame because that was also our first date spot and our movie theater of choice. oh well huh.

We’ve been going to this establishment for both their food and movies. A neat little building from the World’s Fair of 1905 that was moved to its present location opening in 1913. A quirky feel inside that makes your eyes wander looking at all of the things on the walls, lights hanging from ceiling, and oddities scattered here and there. I enjoy the variety of drinks that are served, a lot of them are made at a nearby brewery that is owned by McMenamins. The theater itself is unique amongst theaters in both its seating arrangements and coziness.

I wish I could go see the new movie Melania about the most beautiful best first lady we’ve ever had that’s pretty sad that you guys refuse to play a certain movie because it doesn’t aligned with your radicalized fascist agenda….. That must be why 80% of the people moved out of Portland because of you guys focusing on cleaning up the streets and fixing Portland you’d rather put a Band-Aid over it and pretend that everything’s okay… Guess I’ll go to a normal movie theater that isn’t brainwashed God bless Mr Trump

As long time Mcmenamins passport holders, this was one location we hadn’t had the opportunity to visit previously. It was later at night when we stopped in for a late dinner. The servers were friendly, but seemed distracted – we didn’t receive water or utensils and napkins even after our appetizer arrived. We ordered one standard-type dish and one specialty dish. The food was very good, but not as good as some of the other Mcmenamins locations where we’ve eaten. The atmosphere was a bit more muted than we often find in Mcmenamins, but it was late and the staff seemed shorthanded. Overall, if you’re looking for a mid-level Mcmenamins dining experience with friendly staff and above average food, this will fulfill your needs. If you’re a Mcmenamins first-timer, I’d recommend one of the locations in the Pearl district or one of the flagship locations like the Grand Lodge or Edgefield if you have the time to make it to one of those premium spots. Overall, this is a good spot to get a basic Mcmenamins fix!

This place is so cool!! There is a bar and restaurant with a movie theater inside. You order your food and drinks and they give you a number to take into the theater with you. They bring your food right to you as you’re watching the movie. The decor is super unique and so cool to look at all the different things they have in there. In the movie theater, there is a dome up above that is super cool as well. The theater chairs are nice and big and give you lots of room. They have tables connected to the chairs in front of you for your food. We love this place and will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.
