Super tasty! We stopped here for a late afternoon bite and it was authentic and delicious. We had the chive and pork dumplings (green), the chazu dumplings which were spicy but not crazy hot and the pan fried noodles. Would definitely go back.

Waiting time for a table 45 minutes BUT every second worth. The place is very small, just 7 small tables. I was received by the cashier with a friendly smile, very polite. He advised me that is going to be an estimate of 45 min wait. Surely they called me faster. Please don’t forget it’s a jewel osco next door in case you want to quick shop. The food was AMAZINGLY GOOD. Was worth every penny. The cost was towards the higher end, despite the $ sign on the other reviews, I would say $$. Again, every penny was worth. The 2 waiters were very fast and attentive. I got water refilled each time I would make them a sign. The toilet itself not visible but I did ask the cashier and they do have one for customers. I strongly recommend this place

This dumpling spot not only gave you a homey vibe but they were quick and attentive to your wants and needs! Do not skip out on the scallion pancakes, it’s so simple but so tasty and crispy. We enjoyed the soup dumplings, the beef noodle soup, and grandma’s fried rice! Definitely will be back next time to try the other dishes!

Katy’s restaurant has great dumplings and noodles. It has been a reliable place to get high quality food.

I originally discovered this place looking for a restaurant that served soup dumplings. I might be in the minority, but I thought that Katy’s soup dumplings are average. Mine did not have a lot of liquid in them.

But I still really like Katy’s dumplings. This most recent time, I tried their Chung Du dumplings. Both the dumplings and the sauce it comes with are spectacular with big punches of flavor.

I also had the beef noodle soup, which is probably what they are best known for. They are very generous with the portion sizes and you can easily share this bowl with someone. The beef provides a nice contrast to the noodles in both taste and texture. It is a really solid dish.

And I had grandma’s fried rice. All of the dishes I ordered had a spicy ️ symbol next to it. Oddly, it was the rice that had the biggest spice kick to it (in a good way). Again, the portions on this dish are plenty to be shared.

Katy’s is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant located in a strip mall. They do not have a lot of seating. And they are a very popular place. But I will continue returning to Katy’s for their dumplings and noodles, even if I have to wait.

I walked in right after lunch time so the seats were almost all filled but I got one.

I had heard about them for so long. Finally I was able to try them!

I was sat down and they asked me what I wanted to drink but didn’t come back with it for a long while. They didn’t put utensils down either for me. Everyone else after me who came in for both of those as soon as they sat down. So I was a little confused if I had to get up and get it myself or they just forgot me.

I got sesame chicken, Chung du dumplings and shrimp and chive dumplings.

Sesame chicken was meh. It was fried so hard that it took a harder bite to bite into it. Broccoli was okay. It came with a bowl of rice. I would not recommend.

But the start for me were the dumplings!! The Chung du dumplings were a hit for me! The sauce was salty, sour, vinegary and spicy. It was very addictive. I want to buy that sauce and put it on everything.

I had a friend recommend noodles so I’ll come back and try that and get another dish of Chung du dumplings. It was a small place so avoid lunch rush since most of the seats were filled. I’d come back to try more.

Just okay overall. The dan dan noodles were the highlight—very spicy and flavorful (great only if you like bold heat). The pickled cabbage beef noodle soup was more disappointing: the beef was bland and the broth leaned a bit sweet.

A cozy Chinese spot that focuses mainly on dumplings and noodles. The space is small and tends to get filled up quickly during meal times. We tried the beef noodles, shrimp and chive dumplings, and soup dumplings, and flavors were decent overall. The noodles were slightly overcooked with a mild broth, and all the dumplings felt a bit doughy with thicker skin than I expected, though the flavors were pretty satisfying still.

Great food, fair prices, friendly staff. Soup dumplings and scallion pancakes are a must get. The beef noodle soup was solid. The fried rice was okay. Will definitely be back to try other options.

After going the first time I knew I’d be coming back. The staff is so kind and the service is remarkably quick. The food is unbelievably delicious. Favorites of ours are the soup dumplings, the green beans, and the scallion pancakes. We’ve also gotten the beef dumplings, fried rice, orange chicken, combo chow mein, crab rangoons, and pork buns – all of which were great. The dan dan noodles fell a little flat for us. I really liked the stir fried pancake but it’s not for everyone. Both times I’ve gone with a small group (4-6 people) and it took a little time to get seated (<20 mins) but it was the dinner rush and their dining space is admittedly on the smaller side - maybe 6 tables with 20-25 seats total? Overall my friends and I love this place and will definitely be coming back again and again!
