If you are looking for authentic Greek food this is your place.
Went during happy hour.
The small plate for sharing were perfect.
Everyone gets to try something new and since the prices are reduced you can try lots.
Drink prices, while still high, were close to acceptable.
Service was great and watching the chef and helpers cook the food was fun.
Good prices and great food and service.
Plenty of parking is a bonus .

Had wonderful experience of favorite Greek appetizers. Brought best “food” friends who heartily agreed. Simple olives and feta cheese would have lasted me for entire day. Eyes on menu helped add to enjoyment beyond complementary humus and pita with pikilia, smelts, mussels, and a fabulous grilled octopus. I was in culinary heaven. It was unfortunate that I ate so much could not enjoy the taste of the roast lamb with Greek potatoes that my companion could barely finish.

I recently visited Taverna Kyma, a charming Greek restaurant, and I was truly impressed. The food was outstanding — authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The grilled octopus was a real highlight: tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. Easily one of the best I’ve ever tried.
Their signature Kyma salad was also exceptional.
The atmosphere at Taverna Koumas is warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home with their attentive and friendly service.
If you’re looking for a place to enjoy traditional Greek cuisine at its best, I highly recommend Taverna Kyma.

I’ve been coming to Taverna Kyma for years and simply have nothing bad to say. Great service, great atmosphere (they sometimes even have a belly dancer on the weekends), and amazing, authentic Greek food.
Tonight, I placed an order through Uber Eats – originally for the oven-roasted chicken and hummus and pita – and left a note asking for extra pita if possible. About ten minutes later, I received a call from an employee named Zoe letting me know they didn’t have the ingredients for the oven-roasted chicken, but she offered to sub a similar entree at no extra cost and said they’d include extra pita. Excellent communication.
The order arrived promptly, and I was greeted with a lovely handwritten note and a lottt of extra pita :). For anyone looking for authentic Greek food in an amazing atmosphere, this is your spot. Shoutout to Zoe you rock girl

I tried hard to give another chance, but again I had a bad experience. I have been going there for years, but this place is getting worse and classless. As much as they want to decorate you cant put lipstick on a pig. The owner who apparently her name is Sophia, walks around in her workout pants, and all she does is scream at the staff. ( witness multiple times ). The manager Chris seems very nice and always checks on us said when I had my food undercooked tried to fix it and showed Sophia and she screamed at the kitchen in front of the dining room and then went to go drink her wine. They ended up getting me a new plate, but just to see the way she talks to people is disgusting. She then sat down with an older woman and they two of them continued drinking their wine. She never came to check on us. Spoke to my friends and they said this is the normal there and to just stick with Chris. The owner is a not the real owner and just drinks and pretends. I want to say the staff is generally nice but no one is trained properly. Its a upscale take out restaurant at best. Take out and catering if you have to with Taverna Kyma. Try Greek Islands or Chris Taverna in Lantana for a better experience.

For my last night visiting my friend in Boca Raton, she took me to Taverna Kyma for happy hour, 2 for 1 glasses of wine, and small plates.
It was a TREAT!
We sat at the bar and engaged in pleasant conversation with our bartender/server.
The house made hummus is creamy and delicious. My friend also ordered one to take home!
The grilled calamari was tossed with spinach and spices. It was tender, not chewy, just the right texture.
The Greek tacos were divine! The lamb melted in your mouth.
The Spanakopita was heaven! It was stuffed with an abundant amount of spinach. The phyllo dough was not too flaky.
There is plenty of free parking in the lot. Pleasant music is played quietly throughout the restaurant.
There is a tv for your enjoyment at the bar.
Overall it was a most enjoyable experience.
I highly recommend Taverna Kyma.
I look forward to returning again in the near future.

Loved this place! Went for Sunday brunch. The baklava pancakes and beef tips and eggs were amazing. The homemade humus and pitas were so good. The atmosphere took me right back to Greece. The DJ was a great touch.

Every dish tastes fresh and homemade, and the desserts are simply amazing, the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The lively atmosphere with Greek music adds so much charm, making you feel like you’re dining in the Mediterranean. Service is warm, attentive, and welcoming. A true gem for anyone who loves Greek cuisine!

Having been to Greece multiple times and experiencing the Greek food and restaurants. I’d say this is a true authentic Greek experience!!! Food is outstanding and the service is shocking.
The food was truly a Mediterranean masterpiece.
The service however was in true Greek workmanship, the waiter left us as his shift was done, not informing us he was leaving, we had ordered drinks with our food 10 minutes prior and then saw him leaving without saying a word or letting someone else know we had ordered anything else.
The waitress that took over was far better, but she seemed scared to even crack a smile.
Seems that this place is definitely focused on the food and not to worried about the service and general “feel-good” atmosphere.
But like I said, that’s what I experienced in Greece, so if its the truly Greek encounter you are seeking then this is the place for you. 10/10 food, 2/9 service, 6/10 atmosphere.
