We ordered the crab & lobster toast, which was very tasty and one of my favourite dishes flavour-wise, though I would have preferred a bit more crab/lobster and slightly more aioli.
The octopus with romesco was beautifully cooked, and the coconut hake was a pleasant surprise — different to what I’m used to, but it worked really well.
The mussels were good overall, although a few clams still had some sand in them.
The absolute highlight was the lemon tart, so good I ordered it twice. Easily one of the best desserts I had in Edinburgh which deserves special mention to the chef who made this.
The bill came to around £120. I appreciated that they don’t automatically add service charge — we happily tipped, bringing it to around £130.
Overall, a very enjoyable seafood dinner with great service and a standout dessert.
I would definitely return on future trips to Edinburgh.
The highlight of our meal was definitely the Seafood Platter. The freshness was incredible—you can really taste the ocean in every bite. Everything was perfectly prepared, from the oysters to the shellfish. It’s a generous, beautifully presented spread that is perfect for sharing with friends.
The atmosphere is stylish yet cozy, with a great selection of drinks that pair perfectly with the seafood. The service was also prompt and professional, making the whole experience feel very seamless. If you want to indulge in high-quality, local Scottish seafood in a cool setting, this is the place. Highly recommended!
We were served by Hubert, who was exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional. An absolute must-visit in Edinburgh.
Its mainly an oyster bar but we went in for the seafood. They serve tapas style dishes where you can order a few plates depending on how hungry you are. We had crab scotch egg, hake ceviche and monkfish satay. The fish was so fresh and the flavours of each dish were completely different to each other and very tasty.
We finished with some hebridean blue cheese instead of a dessert. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
