I make a stop every time I come home to visit. Everything was delicious but the chili was really sloppy when I picked the hot dog up. Slid right off. First time I’ve had a chili cheese dog with a fork and knife but every bite was really good. Very generous portions.

Visited chesterton.Not the best pics. But this was our first time here. Cod sandwich I barely could eat. I worked in fast food for years and this looked and tasted old. Had some taste that almost made me gag. I could not eat more than a couple small bites and we tossed it. Chicken pita was definitely not freshly grilled. Maybe precooked and heated up idk try for yourself if you dare, but it was just basic. Cauliflower bites tasted fresh were hot and crispy. Fries were hot and ok at best. Service was fast and friendly but we threw half of our $25 order away. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing because this place had high reviews. Will not return.

Not sure what happened but our last two trips of foods is not as good as it used to be. Italian beef. The buns are stale, and the gyro meat was burnt. Going to give it a while before we go back. Try again. Previous to this it’s always been excellent so it might have been as bad time, not sure what happened.

This place had high ratings, decided to try it and was disappointed. The fries were warm but not fresh. Tasted old. The codfish sandwich had an aftertaste, so we didn’t even finish it. I would have been better off going to mcdonalds, and I don’t eat mcdonalds like that. The chicken pita (#14) was very basic and bland to me. I was expecting a grilled flavor. I could’ve done and have done better at home.Also got the fried caulifower, which was probably the best thing we ate.

Great place to relax and eat with the family. The food is fresh and the service is quick. A tv and sports theme adorn the walls of this sit-down fast food restaurant. We love the corn dogs!

I ordered a gyro sandwich and was amazed by the portions and the great presentation of the food I was given. This was very short-lived; unfortunately, I have tried a lot of great small businesses and am usually amazed by their food. I love supporting different cultures and their unique foods. The mixture of disappointment from the dry gyro meat & the foul-tasting tzatziki with the soggy tomatoes. Combining all of this with the sloppy, soggy pita bread and the ENTIRE non-shredded stick of feta cheese. I did enjoy the steak fries and onions, but sadly, that is the only thing I could compliment about this establishment. There is a spot in Valparaiso about 20 minutes away called King Gyros, and in comparison, I would have to say they top any gyro place I have ever tried in the 219 region. Overall would have loved to leave a better review, but I have to be transparent and honest to the people planning on spending their hard-earned money for a bite to eat. By no means am I undermining any of the staff there; it was a swift transaction process and a calm environment. I hope that in the future this establishment could make some changes to further continue their restaurant and business.

Today for lunch I ordered the gyro plate. The meat was dried up, shriveled and barely warm. The pitas were cold and stale.. Very unfortunate… On the bright side the portions are good!

I had really high hopes for this place and love to support local. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Gyro wasn’t good. Meat tasted like it had been sitting for a while and the pita was almost like trying to chew shoe leather. I ended up throwing over half of my gyro away. Only bright spot was the strawberry shake. I’d go back for the ice cream/shakes.
