We Absolutely Loved this place. This was our first time. We went on Valentine’s Day and even with the Rush, everything was Delicious and Fresh, and great service. Their appetizers are SO SO YUMMY. We tried the waffle fries app mmm, the potstickers mmmm and the Steak tips mmmmm… And We Were So Pleased, we Smashed everything.
It is Beyond Hard trying to find a Restaurant that not only cooks fresh food but also Tasty Food and The Oxford Tap has it all.
You will Not Be Disappointed. Atmosphere is super cool in the bar area. Sitting area was more family’s, but quiet and comfortable.
My only complaint was that my Whiskey Sour was Horrible! But I didn’t go there for drinks so it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Great service and great food. The specials are always creative and interesting. Atmosphere is super casual. On the bar side there are plenty of huge screens, but there is also a dining room side that doesn’t have all of the distractions if that’s what you’re looking for. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large.

Had a lot of people telling us this place was great and had the best wings. We drove 45 minutes to try it. The young lady host was really sweet and we were sat right away. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The server almost forgot my drink. Once I got the cocktail, it was warm. Good flavor but warm, which means its wasn’t shaken well. The appetizer was okay, we got pretzels with cheese. Pretzels hot but the cheese was just luke warm. My husband dinner was good but I got the wings since everyone recommend them and they were awful. They were chewy and fatty. I know they are jumbo style and can be difficult to cook but they definitely needed to cook longer. Also our server left us for about 15 minutes. I know everyone needs a break but we could see the server and just felt over all ignored. This definitely was not a good experience. I don’t believe we will be coming back between the experience and the drive.

Nice atmosphere. Some of the food hit the mark like the Mac n cheese and steak bites. The fried food oil had a weird taste. The burgers, specifically the burger meat was flavorless. They need to season the patties. Visited February 14th, 2026

First time visiting the Oxford Tap Room. This is what a classic bar should be. Love the selection of beverages. The music wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t have a nice conversation even near the bar. And the staff was delightful with cute smiles that were very infectious all night long.
The wings are crunchy and juicy. The ghost pepper sauce had a good kick to it. The burgers were juicy and very tasty.
I will definitely come here again next time I’m in town

We have been coming here for years. It’s always good. But tonight it was over the top for some reason. Franzie took great care of us. The food was amazing. I’d say the best meal we have had out in a long time. Even the drinks were perfect! We will have to spend more time here in the future. Well done Tap!

Best bar / american food in Oxford, and a staple in the community. Absolutely everything is delicious. Large portion sizes on meals, reasonable pricing, good service and atmosphere, and big portions. The customers are usually friendly and fun too. The tap list has plenty of options, including seasonal craft beers. What else could you want from a bar?

Service was great, food was awesome. Hubby had a burger that was to die for! I had fish and chips also to die for. Was a little crowded our own fault for not getting there earlier. Parking was a slight challenge in the pouring rain but definately worth the unpleasant feeling of wet clothes. Would 100% go again.
