Of course, the chips and salsa is always a good choice, usually you can always get this for free if you sign up for their reward membership.
I got a regular burger with cheese. It was called the Big Q. It was made to what I asked for it to be ordered. The fries were seasoned and pretty OK, but definitely pair well with the ranch. They have that runny restaurant ranch that is so good with french fries
At this visit, it seemed like our waitress was kind of distracted. She took her order, but our nachos took about 20 minutes to come out and we ordered them early. And our food came out promptly after we finished the nachos, it was pretty well timed. But as I started running out of water, it seemed like our waitress was nowhere to be found. And then we never got napkins until we asked for it after we had our two appetizers and already started eating our regular food. I understand that is partly on me for not asking until I actually remembered, but also why was I never given napkins in the first place?
It’s very convenient to be able to pay right at the table and head out as soon as you’re done eating. I’m definitely gonna come back, but I hold my waitress or waiter in the future, is not so distracted as ours was.
Order messed up after realizing that another plate wasn’t coming we asked staff. Then they were finally delivering the plate as we were just about to leave so told them to cancel it. I had my kids with me so we were sharing my plate when they could have had their own. Also the manager or shift manager came over to talk about how that plate takes a long time to make instead of apologizing for the mistake with the order, in the first place. Also the BBQ plate was horrible the ribs were hard and dry, the corn on the cob had no flavor at all a was over cooked. Even the chicken was tough.
Over all bad experience.
When we arrived we were greeted and told that it would be about a 15 minute wait, which was pretty accurate. It seemed to be a pretty busy Friday night. The restaurant appeared clean, and when we used the ladies room that was as well.
For dinner I had the Big Smasher Burger. The server didn’t ask how I’d prefer it cooked which I should’ve thrown it out there. And I wish I had because it came to me medium rare which is not my favorite, but I ate it anyway. The burger was lacking some serious flavor; super bland. It just taste like unseasoned meat with cheese and thousand island. Nothing that would make me want to have it again. The fries that came with it were good. But the ranch dressing for the fries was water down.
I think our server could’ve been a bit more attentive and got with some of the things we needed preemptively instead of having to ask multiple times; such as napkins. Plates after being done eating and showing it with a crumbled napkin on the plate, weren’t removed expeditiously. Instead we were asked if we wanted dessert and after asking for the menu, walked away to get that but not clear anything. Overall not a great experience.
