– McAlister’s Deli, Huntsville, AL
We were lucky enough to be among the first 25 customers through the doors on opening day, and let me just say — McAlister’s is BACK and better than ever! The vibe inside was electric. Everyone was genuinely excited, happy, and absolutely thrilled to be there and serve us. You could feel the pride.
The “new” Huntsville location is gorgeous — bright, clean, and so well put together. And the food? Immaculate. Everything came out incredibly fast and super fresh. I even tested it by placing a mobile to-go order while we were eating, and it was ready in record time too. Efficiency is their love language, apparently.
We also got to chat with the GM, who confirmed BIG things coming:
• Muscle Shoals is up first — they’ve already broken ground
• Next is North Parkway near the new Target coming in Meridianville
• And South Huntsville is third on the list, they’re already looking for spots!
All in all, today’s customer service and attention to detail were outstanding and we are so excited to have them back in Madison County. Highly recommend stopping by — they nailed opening day.

It’s great to finally have McAlisters Deli back in Huntsville! We went today and they were packed! Yet the service went fast, we found a table quickly and everyone was super friendly! McAlister’s is one of our families favorite places and this new location did not fail! Food was excellent and the staff was just fantastic! They came by the table to refill our drinks, clear our plates and check on the meal.

I went to McAlisters today for the first time since they re opened. They were CROWDED! I waited probably 2 minutes before someone asked to take my order. Which isn’t inconvenient at all. That’s where the real experience began. They gave me my number and sweet tea. I sat down, pulled out my phone, and my food hit the table. I got the half King Club and half broccoli and cheddar soup. Both were absolutely amazing, and the King Club was certainly fit for a King. It was huge! I would absolutely recommend eating here. The food and experience is great!

My partner and I love y’all! But it seems like every time we are there our order is never correct. I was just there today, to correct a to-go order. Spicy turkey melt, no avocado, weat wrap. I got no avocado. But it was on a sub bun. I called and they said I had free entrée next time I visited. But, please have better communication from the front to the back.

I went to McAlister’s Deli and let me just say the service was phenomenal! From the time I waked in, and was greeted with a smile, customer service was impeccable! Gianna was super sweet; she helped me decide on what was a good fit for me. Jalecya was also super sweet with determining the taste I was looking for, and just very helpful. Alithia was super sweet she was very attentive while we waited. The food was hot & delicious; the portions were well above what I expected. Overall the service, the food, the atmosphere was absolutely Top Tier! Thank you, McAlister’s Deli for Wonderful Service.

I first experienced McAlister’s when I moved to AL. I only had the pleasure of enjoying it when I would go to meetings at the corporate office in Birmingham. The company I worked for would cater it for lunch. When I learned that HSV was getting a location I was stoaked… but when I learned who it was owned by I was over the moon!!!! My coworker and I grabbed lunch there this past Friday and it was amazing. The place was bursting from the seams, the service was friendly and fast (take out) and the quality… well keep reading. I ordered the pick two (which provided a wealth of options) with a New Yorker (Pastrami and Corned Beef on Rye) and a Savannha chopped salad (mixed greens, craisins, gorgonzola, almonds, tomato and cucumber. The NY was stacked high and absolutely delicious, however, it was slightly dry and needed more sauce/spread. The salad was fresh and the lettuce was healthy with no brown spots or aging, however, they were to sparing with the amount of dressing they provided. All and all I was totally pleased and am excited to return!!!!
