Stopped here with the family on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy. Great location to meet up with others that live between Cleveland and Columbus. Only a 15 minute wait for the 6 of us, which was perfect. Worth the wait, as the food, service and prices were great. Had The Mouthful burger (with mushrooms added) and it was extremely good, and very filling. Others had the Pumpkin BBQ sauce off the Fall Menu and talked about how great it was. The server was phenomenal and he was always stopping by for refills, asking if we needed anything and was extremely attentive. Definitely will stop by again in the future.

Great experience. The bartender, as well as the rest of the staff were great. They all smiled and were polite. My drinks were well made. My food came out fast, which shocked me because they were busy on both floors, as well as on the patio; and the prices are very reasonable. My burger was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the fries were nice and crisp. After eating I went out to the large patio amd listened to the live band they had. I will definitely be back!

We ate lunch here and had to wait to be seated because there was only one server. The waitress provided good service. The Creme brûlée was delicious. The lunch portion of chicken was very small and served with only a small side of rice. The applewood chipotle pulled pork sandwich was delicious. The heat of the sauce was balanced with the pickle. The fish and chips were okay. They did serve three pieces of fish with it. The tater tots tasted like it had mashed potatoes rolled in shredded potatoes and then deep fried, created a nice texture.

Started by having an hour wait for a table on the 2nd floor, really didn’t feel like waiting so we checked in the bar downstairs. BEST idea we ever had. Got a 4 top table and sat there, no waiting, perfect.

Cheerful, helpful and a real pleasure to talk to, you would have thought we we her only table, didn’t feel rushed, when we asked about menu items, explained perfectly and in detail.
Had appetizers, and a sandwich there, meat candy was our app. and did not disappoint, excellent job !
My wife had the alfredo, so good. I have the “sloppy” pulled pork. I have mad a lot of BBQ in my time, this ranked right up there! Really tasty, dressed nicely, and just delicious. All this was made possible by our waitress Mandy, without her personality, and suggestion, this was just going to be a good dinner, but with her help, this was a great dinner and experience. Food was done perfectly, nice job South Street Grille!

We love South Street! Easily the best food in the city in our opinion. It’s consistently great service and food. We go back again and again for our favorites because they are that good. The tots of the day are always a hit, and their feisty chicken and pork belly mad and cheese are among our top picks. Service is always great and helpful staff. They get busy on weekend evenings and we’ve had to call ahead before otherwise you may not get in. This place is 10/10.

I’ve never had to leave a bad review for restaurant food before, but the burgers were horrible. I’m not sure what substance they use for the “meat”, but it was slimy, gooey and tasted nothing like beef. McDonald’s burgers were better; and I won’t eat McDonalds. I’ve never left a burger on the plate, but I choked about have of it down, and left the rest. My wife did the same with her burger.
Maybe their other menu items are better; I don’t know. But avoid the burgers! That was our first time at SSG, and we will NOT be back.

I love the size of the food portion….The drinks were very refreshing.. appetizer was really yummy and hot and good. I will say if you are greeted a little better once you take your seat downstairs and be more attentive to the paying customer. I would have tipped no problem. The waiter was nice the two times she came over

Great dining experience. We started with a buffalo chicken dip and pita chips which was made with great ingredients and perfect portion of chips to dip. We moved on to the seasonal salad and the steak bombs with Mac and cheese, which complimented the marinated steak perfectly. The service was fast, friendly, and informative. Dishes ranged from $15 to $20. Perfect for a nice occasion. About $75 for three entrees and an app with waters and 20%.
