It was my first time there. The shrimp tacos were excellent. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was good. They have tons of tvs with the ganes on. The also have outdoor seating with a fire going. Overall, I was impressed with the place.

I’ve been here twice. Both times—one wknd, one wk night—we were greeted and seated promptly. The server arrived quickly to take our order and the food was delivered within the expected ticket time for our orders. The frozen margaritas are tasty. We have tried the brisket bites, BBQ ribs, crawfish, and brownie a la mode. The BBQ wasn’t particularly memorable but it definitely didn’t disappoint either. The brisket bites were not worth the price. The crawfish were a good size and well cooked and seasoned, not just dusted like some other restaurants around here do. The brownie was huge but it has no nuts and it was pretty dry. It came with a scoop of ice cream that was dwarfed by the size of the brownie. Our waitress did offer to bring an additional scoop, but we declined because we didn’t need the extra calories or enjoy the brownie enough to go to the effort. I’d skip the brownie and try a different dessert. Overall, each visit was pleasant. My impression is that the service is better than the food. Still, it’s a solid option.

Love the Texas inspired theme inside the restaurant! The server was great and very attentive with a smile. Tons of fried or grilled food options, the shrimp gumbo was great but the po boy was lacking in the sauce department. Food Presentation was great and the atmosphere was very laid back.

Well worth it. Definitely the pick me up we needed. Kristine was very attentive to our table. Crawfish was citrusy, juicy and clean. Really enjoyed this place and so did my son. You want a country style bar to enjoy some awesome crawfish with very good staff. This is the place.

We had Texas Mesquite Grill cater our daughter’s wedding and were beyond pleased with the entire process! Teri who manages the catering met with us before hand for a tasting of the items we were considering for the wedding. The food is AMAZING! We did a Texas based meal with Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Brenham, mashed potatoes and green beans. Many compliments on the food. They were also accommodating of special requests (gluten free items). Lastly we hired their staff and bartenders to serve. The servers and bussers did a fantastic job of passing the appetizers and bussing tables quickly after finishing meals. The bartenders were so fun and friendly – quickly kept up with drink orders and special requests with a smile. We could not have been more pleased! Thank you Teri and Team!

This was our first time at this establishment and I must say WE WERE IMPRESSED. Omgosh our server, Rod, demonstrated exceptional professionalism, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The food was absolutely outstanding. That mesquite sauce did not disappoint and the fish was delicious. My husband is enjoying every piece of his rib and shrimp combo. We are all counting down to go BACKKKKKKKK.

We ordered the grilled chicken salad, Texas Hot, and the Red-eye Royal burger. My salad was delicious. The chicken breast was Smokey and cooked perfectly moist. My son devoured his burger which had a fried egg on it. My husband ordered the Texas Hot that had a jalapeno slaw on it. The only complaint was that it was too sour. I happen to love Buffalo chicken and wanted to say that it was a delicious Buffalo chicken sandwich. The fries were awesome. We’ll be coming back again.
