My husband and I are trying new-to-us restaurants for the next 15 days in celebration of our 15th wedding anniversary. Valentine’s Day 2026 we opted for breakfast at Olde Towne Pancake House and Catering. It was an hour and a half drive north for us, but MORE than worth it.
Parking is tight here, but we were able to back in to a spot, no problem. The line appeared long, so we were a little apprehensive as we don’t care for long waits. However, we were greeted promptly; someone even gave up their seat for me; everyone waiting was extremely friendly which made for a quick wait.
We were seated at a small room near the back with three tables, so even though the restaurant was full, the noise level was well controlled and it was a great spot for an actual conversation during breakfast!
Our server (Kim) came right away, brought fresh, piping-hot coffees and quickly took our order. I had the meat-lover’s omelette which came with choice of bread and potatoes. Absolutely delicious! (It was no problem for them to sub applesauce for the potatoes.) Hubby had pork tenderloin with egg; also delicious!
We will definitely keep this place in mind when traveling that way and likely will make a special trip again in the Spring.

Fantastic place to treat yourself for breakfast. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. It is quite far from where I live but it was worth the drive. I was honestly in the area for another reason but I will make the drive again for it alone. They do have some parking and it seems to be just enough to fill the small space. Give them a visit, you won’t be sorry you did.

Great place for breakfast! Quaint space, small parking area but a great value for good food. We had pancakes & biscuits and gravy. Staff was friendly.

We love this breakfast spot!
Small-town, cozy atmosphere with that classic hometown feel. The pancakes are a must-try, fluffy, filling, and so good every time.
The parking lot is on the smaller side, but there’s additional parking nearby at neighboring locations.
Definitely one of our favorite breakfast spots in Jonesborough!

Happened to be in town and looked for a breakfast spot. Stumbled upon this place and boy-o-boy, am I glad I did.

The staff is super friendly, helpful and full of southern charm. They offered suggestion off the menu, but only after I asked. They checked in on my experience consistently but not in an annoying manner. Coffee was topped off as needed. They really were super!

The food was quite tasty and seemed to be of good quality (a rarity in these times). There was a hearty portion that was quickly served and quickly eaten! I had the steak omelet which I would definitely recommend. I had a view of the kitchen and everything coming out of it looked great!

I read a few reviews about bland food and this was not my experience at all. Prior reviewers have noted a tight parking situation and this is true. Once you see the place, you will understand there is nothing the business can do about that situation. Navigate that one minor obstacle and you shall be rewarded handsomely.

Update. 2nd trip not as good as the first. Not a fan of the fries. Also got deconstructed strawberry roll ups to go (so they wouldnt be soggy) but they left the strawberries on them making them not edible. We had already left or I would have said something. Just check your to go orders.

First visit..Excellent food and service! Love the roll up crapes. Give them a try

I recently visited the Olde Towne Pancake House in Jonesborough and had a truly amazing breakfast experience.
I ordered the classic combination of pancakes, eggs, and sausage, and everything was cooked perfectly. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the eggs were exactly as requested, and the sausage was savory and delicious. A small but very appreciated detail was that the syrup was served warm, which elevated the entire meal—a wonderful touch!
Beyond the incredible food, the service was outstanding. Our server, Stacy, was extremely nice, attentive, and helpful, making our visit feel welcoming and comfortable from start to finish.
If you are looking for a fantastic, classic breakfast in Jonesborough with warm hospitality, you absolutely must try the Olde Towne Pancake House. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best breakfast restaurant in the Tri-Cities region. As you can see from my photos, the food is consistently prepared and presented. We go there frequently. The establishment is owned by three local sisters ‍ ‍ , and at least one is on location at all times.

Atmosphere is that of a popular restaurant in a small town. You can expect to wait to be seated, but we always think it’s worth it. Longest I’ve waited is 40 minutes, but that is at peak time on a Saturday. Typical time is about 15-20 minutes for a party of 4.

Coffee ☕ is hot and served in large mugs. It’s good, and they have sugar, sweeteners, and flavored cream and half-&-half on the table. Ice water is always cold.

Recommendations: omelets are my favorite choice, I can’t resist the Fajita Chicken Omelet, another great choice is the Spinach Omelet. Upgrade the toast to a single pancake , and if you’re looking for a real treat, go for the pumpkin pancake (see video below). They have gluten-free pancakes available, too. 100% Maple syrup is available for an extra charge if you’re a maple syrup kind of person. Standard syrup comes with all pancakes served.

The Big Breakfast or Old Timer’s breakfast are your classic style country cooking.

Parking ️ can be an issue, I usually park down the street toward the downtown area and walk up. Building is wheelchair ♿ & stroller accessible.

Thanks for reading this, and enjoy Jonesborough. ❤️

Great staff, excellent food and competitive pricing. One of our favorite breakfast places. It is on the small side so expect a wait due to it’s popularity but it’s worth it.

Think Aunt Bea and Andy Griffith style atmosphere when you enter the Pancake House. It’s my favorite Saturday spot along with many other locals. The food is delish and the service is amazing! Especially Kim!
