Press Box Grill is a casual sports bar, neighborhood pub and full-service restaurant all rolled into one! We are an independent, locally-owned and family-owned establishment that features a gallery of 36 draft beers (24 of them dedicated to Texas beers), a 112 HD 1080p big screen, and 16 more TVs for catching the games on. Often called the Cheers of Dallas, we aim to make you feel at home with our friendly staff, great food and relaxed atmosphere. We are located in the historic Wilson Building on the SW corner of Elm & Ervay in downtown Dallas.

Been in the downtown area for a few weeks for work and I’ve come back here several times. Had the blackened salmon and the pork chop. In my opinion, they are the best deal in all of downtown Dallas and they taste damn good. Happy hour drinks specials are great too, very friendly service.

soo i order the brisket tacos.. let’s just say my boyfriend had to give me the rest of his food. You can’t exchange the plate for a different meal or get a refund apparently. The best thing on the plate was the rice and beans.. the beans is basically red beans and rice ( a louisiana staple, after crawfish) nevertheless the atmosphere is there! I got a martini.. the drink taste really ashy.. dry? ion know if that makes sense but it’s… nice in here.. it’s cute a cute vibe.. pluckers would’ve been a better choice tho.

So grateful that Press Box in Dallas was open during today’s winter storm. I really needed to get out of my apartment, and this was exactly the right spot. Great atmosphere, comforting food, and even better service. Jose and Pepe were the absolute best — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made a dreary storm day feel a lot brighter. If you’re looking for a place that feels friendly and familiar when you need it most, this is it.

I went in and sat down in the bar area and the lady bartender was rude to me, so I got up and moved inside the restaurant. and it just happens that the owner was right there . I started talking to him and told him that I didn’t want to be served by her, and he got me some amazing people to take care of me, so therefore my service was amazing. The food was super delicious. I had chips w queso think it was supreme it had some chili or good stuff in it. It was absolutely delicious. I ate every little bit of it. I also had a Philly cheesesteak which was super delicious and to top it off the Key line pie. I will return thanks to customer service.

I recently dined at the Press Box Grill and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the lively atmosphere of the bar set the perfect tone for a great evening.
For starters, I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Sausage soup, which was a flavorful combination of tender chicken, spicy sausage, rice, okra, onions, green peppers, celery, and garlic. The medley of ingredients created a harmonious blend of flavors that left me wanting more.
As my main course, I opted for the Blackened Salmon fillet served with rice and the grilled veggie medley. The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a mouthwatering blackened crust that added a delightful hint of smokiness. The accompanying rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the grilled veggie medley was a colorful and delicious addition to the dish; however, the Haddock Filet and Fries was a little disappointing. The texture of the fish was overcooked and it was a tad greasy. I would not recommend. The fries were good considering.
I can’t say enough about the delicious food I enjoyed at the Press Box Grill. Each bite was a burst of incredible flavors that left me thoroughly satisfied. Coupled with the lively atmosphere of the bar, it made for a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend visiting the Press Box Grill for a fantastic meal and a great time.

Was in Dallas for business and wanted to find a sports bar close to my hotel to watch my Blue Jays play the game 7 taking them to the World Series, and this was a great find! Jose secured a TV for us with sound on a Monday night football evening and made us one of the best dirty martinis I’ve ever had! The food is great bar food! Will gave us great food recos — their burgers being one of them. Solid spot to watch a game!

After roughly 9 hours of driving, I stopped in downtown Dallas at the Press Box Grill, had a delicious beer and a spicy chicken sandwich! Press Box Grill is located downtown Dallas, very convenient area with lots to do and very safe.
Lots of decent parking, plenty of seating inside the bar, or you can sit at the bar itself, plenty of delicious items on the menu plus lots of great tap choices!
Totally recommend this place if you’re coming to Dallas and you want a good lunch!
