Opening in 2015, La Cabaña Hubertus is the first of four family-owned restaurants. We are here to serve families, big and small, with our vast menu that is sure to please every member of your family (even the picky ones)! We strive to treat every patron like family (just ask our regulars) and hope we see you soon! We take pride in our fresh ingredients, bold flavors and fast service no matter what you order. Breakfast to dinner, we offer a variety Traditional Mexican dishes like Alambres and American Dishes like Patty Melts (if you don’t like Mexican food, you’re wrong, but it’s okay, we’re here for you). We even have some tex-mex dishes like ground beef tacos (yeah, you won’t find those in Mexico).

The food was great, and I really loved the homey, family-friendly atmosphere. The food didn’t take long to come out. One small thing I noticed again, though, was that we had to ask a few times for sauces to go with our tacos. While we were waiting, the table next to us also needed to ask for sauces, and their waitress brought them out right away. I had to stop her and ask her to help bring our sauces as well since we been waiting for a while. It would be nice if sauces were offered before or when the food is delivered so guests don’t have to wait or ask multiple times especially on a busy Friday night. But over all, food was good, atmosphere is cool. We also had the michelada and it was soo good and refreshing. Would love to support local again.

Coworkers and I go there frequently for lunch. Usually the same man is behind the bar, and he is terrific. The Margaritas on the rocks were great. I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food. It’s fine, I just like a burger for lunch sometimes. The burger was excellent. Meat was good. No chewy bits. Might be a perfect choice for the kiddos. Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomatoes…exactly what I wanted for lunch. There was very little left for a snack later, it was so good. If you want fries with it, that’s an option. I preferred the beans and rice.

If was our first time here. The service was awesome! The kitchen got my order wrong, but I didn’t complain. I just ate it. The chips and rice are AMAZING!!! If you are looking for a place to try… I would suggest trying this place. Prices are very reasonable too! We will be back.

The food and service were excellent. I had the traditional alambre and it was delicious. My wife had the shrimp enchiladas which were also great. Our server was outstanding.

Was excited to try this place as my friends love it. I was a little disappointed.
The chips and salsa was great, two salsas, one mild, one hot, both good. The margaritas were good, a little too sweet for me.
I ordered combo #1 to get a variety of their food. The taco was good but nothing special, the enchilada I didn’t like, the chimichanga was very good. The beans had good flavor, the rice was a bit dry and not much flavor.
I will try this place again and order a regular meal rather than a combo.

Update: Stopped in for breakfast today. 5 ⭐ . Crepes are made with fresh fruit, so delicious. Breakfast burrito was great with rice and beans. A must for great breakfast in the area. Service and Food has always been excellent and consistent. We have been coming here since they opened. A must to try! 5 stars!!

I tried take out from La Cabana about 3 years ago and found it to be extremely dry and lacking flavor. Since it’s right down the street and has so many great reviews I thought I’d give it another chance but dine in this time. The waitress clearly didn’t want to be there and kept looking elsewhere while we were talking to her. I think she came back one time to check on us. She did not smile and was not welcoming. The food was decent as far as flavor but their portion sizes are terrible!! I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant where I felt I wasn’t given enough food. And I’m not a big eater! The kids meal was a joke with one very small taco and a small helping of beans and rice. Not even enough for my 2 year old! My fajitas had great flavor but again extremely small portion and only 4 tiny taco shells. Never had a bad experience with a Mexican restaurant until trying this place.

Service was quick and professional. The margaritas were really good – highly recommended. Chimichangas had plenty of cheese with the meat. Enjoyed the mole on the enchiladas.
