This McDonald’s location is generally speaking pretty nice overall in terms of the exterior of the building as well as the interior. It’s a pretty clean restaurant all things considered, and the food is of decent quality. I have yet to have any negative experiences overall in terms of placing an order at this location minus one time where their systems were down and they were having issues. This location did not turn off their mobile order placement, and they were still allowing mobile orders to come through despite their system issues. I had placed an order using the only good discount code that I had in the McDonald’s app, and if you know anything about the McDonald’s app, if you have to cancel your order and get a refund – you unfortunately don’t get refunded the use of the discount code. You have to wait a full day to use the code again. Most of the time, you only have one or two good codes in the McDonald’s app at any given point in time and the rest of them are pretty useless. I arrived to the location and I had spent a sizable amount of money which was about $20 in terms of my order size and they informed me that their systems were down but from the get-go, the employee that I spoke with, seemed a little bit agitated for some reason, even though I was very polite and respectful. When I told them that I just had the information in the app instead, and maybe they could make the order for me, the employee got even more upset and started being rude to me in response. When I said that I was disappointed because I had to get a refund now since they wouldn’t accept the order, another employee came over the intercom and was speaking over the other employee and was yelling at me to get out of the drive-through and leave. I did not hassle them and I left, that was definitely the worst experience I’ve had at any McDonald’s in terms of customer service. I’m an autistic person and I try to avoid altercation overall, I definitely did not try to agitate the employees in anyway. I had just been a little bit disappointed, and honestly sad that I had had to wait that much time to get a refund again when just the day prior, I had the same experience at a different restaurant in terms of having to get a refund. I have had a poor experiences with the staff on other occasions, I regularly pick up DoorDash and Uber eats orders from this location, typically in the morning time, and the staff members are always very adamant about confirming the order – in front of them – which is fine, but sometimes they can be a little bit moody about it. Definitely not polite staff, but it is a clean location with a nice environment and great food in terms of the quality. in terms of the order turnover time, I cannot complain about that at all – they are very quick in general with providing orders for DoorDash and Uber eats and I never have to wait longer than five minutes typically. Their drive-through times are very reasonable as well and they are not a slow location.

Okay. I want to share how I never say or share when things go wrong in an order, but this truly was, a horrible experience. First off, I ordered a delivery order 30 minutes before breakfast was over, and I ordered 2 sausage egg McMuffins, 2 hash browns, a large strawberry banana smoothie, and 10 ketchups. Then, my first delivery driver told me he had to cancel it because they refused to make the breakfast, I said okay, but I tried calling the McDonald’s, and I told them what had happened, they didn’t say anything, and hung up. I tried to let it be and see how things would go, then, 2 other drivers canceled, so I called again, I told the woman what was happening and she said “okay” and then hung up. Then, after over an hour of waiting, the offer comes to my door. It was a bag of 10 ketchups and a smoothie, but I paid almost 40 dollars for it. I called them and explained what happened, and they said they would give my number to the supervisor. I just don’t think this is okay, and I won’t be returning again.

I just wanted my cookies warmed up, not only did she complain talking about “they are fresh cookies” while i felt them hard as a rock. She then turned around, talking disrespectful in spanish. I was mature enough to stay quiet. Just because I’m black doesn’t mean i don’t speak spanish, stop hiring disrespectful people, you work at mcdonald’s.

Mel is fantastic! Just sitting in the restaurant, my family witnessed Mel handle a customer issue like a true professional. She stayed calm, resolved the matter to the best of her ability, and continued to be friendly throughout the interaction. All the staff that I spoke with that was working was incredible and kind. Will definitely be back with my family!

This is the closest McDonald’s to my home, and I will more often choose to drive a little out of the way than come here for 1 of 2 reasons. 1st, their order accuracy is awful! Don’t ever drive away without checking your order. 2nd, there’s a 50% chance the shake machine is broken. It happens so often that I don’t believe it anymore. I think the employees don’t like cleaning it so they just say it’s broken. I’m pretty sure if I add up all the times I’ve been told “no shakes” by all other establishments combined it would not match the number of times that this 1 McDonald’s has.

I had a code for a $5.39 big Mac meal and they said it wasn’t working but on my app it said it got taken and I can’t use another code for 20 minutes. Mind you my food is ready so I’m not going to wait 20 minutes when clearly they are looking at my phone and the deal.
Now instead of manually entering it in the computer they charge me full price and tell me nothing they can do about it. Over an extra $7?! What a joke. Terrible customer service. Terrible

McDonald’s is already ridiculously expensive for what it is, but you’d think they would at least try to maintain reasonable customer service to make up for that. Certainly not at this location. Between the cashier at the drive-through not uttering a single word, to the pick-up window gal realizing she’d left out our hash browns after she sent us on our way, but then ignoring us when we immediately and clearly pulled into the drive-through wait spots where we were visible from her window (which the need for wait spots says a lot about McDonald’s speed and accuracy), to having to flag down their “runner” who was taking food to another vehicle after we went back through the drive-through a second time to try to get our hash browns…it was an incredibly lousy experience that took 15 minutes (for two biscuits and two hash browns). We will not be back.

Nothing like sitting in one drive-thru lane, watching the OTHER lane actively take orders while your guy just keeps telling you to “hold on.” This has happened multiple times at this place. They have zero respect for customers here.
Edit: And they CONSTANTLY take online orders for frozen coke without the machine running. Like, 50% of the time I can actually get one that I order from here. Mill Creek needs better.
Oh, and getting a grinch box without the seasoning is just another kick in the nuts. CHECK that your food is correct before you drive off!

I ordered one apple pie & one holiday pie, they gave me 2 apple pies, and I ordered medium ice latte, but gave me small, and they insist it’s correct size. My kids eat McDonald every week, I ordered medium ice latte all the time, bad service! We will avoid this location.
