I have been a patron of Royal Place Kabab for years, but my visit last Saturday was, without a doubt, the absolute best experience I have ever had there. From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect, cementing this spot as my top choice for authentic, delicious food in Northern Virginia.

Let’s start with the most important part: the food. It was nothing short of spectacular. We ordered the Combination Kabab platter, and every single item was cooked to perfection. The koobideh kabab was incredibly juicy and flavorful, with a beautiful char that locked in the herbs and spices. The barg (filet mignon) was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and the chicken kabab was moist and seasoned impeccably. The saffron-infused basmati rice was fluffy and aromatic, the perfect companion to the smoky meats. We also tried the mast-o-khiar and the fresh, warm bread—everything was fresh, authentic, and prepared with obvious care.

What truly elevated the night from a great meal to a memorable one was the service. We had the pleasure of meeting the new manager, and his presence was a game-changer. He was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, circulating through the dining room to ensure every table was happy. He took the time to explain a few new items on the menu with genuine passion and offered a fantastic recommendation for a dessert we hadn’t tried before. His attentive and helpful nature created a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like a valued guest, not just a customer.

The entire service team was synchronized and efficient. Our water glasses were never empty, plates were cleared promptly, and the food arrived at our table hot and in a very timely manner.

In a area with no shortage of dining options, Royal Place Kabab has always stood out for its quality. Now, with this renewed focus on exceptional guest experience under the new management, it has become unbeatable. If you’re craving phenomenal Persian cuisine served by a staff that truly cares, look no further. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I will be back very, very soon ⭐

I recently visited Royal Palace Kabob in Alexandria, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The highlight of my visit was definitely the butter chicken — it was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced with aromatic spices. Every bite tasted authentic and freshly made. The naan was soft and paired perfectly with the curry.
If you’re looking for delicious Pakistani food in Alexandria, I highly recommend Royal Palace Kabob. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more dishes!

Chicken Seekh Kabob – 1pc for $5 was little pricey.. expected atleast 2 pc .. but taste was ok.. not worth the price.

Chicken Haleem (Sat & Sun) the quantity was good taste was ok… not great but good .. $20 was too much as compared to other restaurant that offers between $12-16 are much more tastier and flavorful but this was just ok… not worth the price… expected more bold flavors but not for a $20 price.. too much.. but once spend is an experience to not order next time.

Fresh Bread – They were pretty soft… compared to any other restaurants .. naan and rotis.. this one was different.. I had ordered 2 … but received 3 .. not sure why… (may be 1 complimentory with the seekh kabob)… but liked it.. soft well baked..undoubtedly good .. combined well with the Chicken Seekh Kabob and Chicken Haleem (Sat & Sun) …..

Rasmalai – Must Try !- It was the show stopper….
Very different… till date what i have received from other restaurant seemed similar to the packed ras malai that is available in most of the freezers in Indian grocery store..

But this ras malai seemed inhouse hand made.. fresh and delicate… the taste and flavors were unique and delicious.
Absolutely, 1 is not enough if you are a sweet lover…
$5.99 worth the price the taste and it was Awesome undoubtedly….

I usually order takeout and get the chicken biryani it’s one of my favorite meals from there, but the last two times that I ordered it. It’s been absolutely disgusting. They put chicken necks in my food. It’s never been made with chicken necks, and when I called to complain about it, the manager assured me that they would make it right the next time,so I ordered it again trusting the manager, I even spoke with the manager, and he said that he would make it himself and when I received it and it was eating it another chicken neck popped up on me. That is absolutely disgusting. I called the manager up and I told him that I found another chicken neck in my food again, He got a little offensive offended with Me for calling a complaining.

Two of us got the all-you-can-eat weekend lunch buffet ($21.70), and one chose the Chicken Tikka Kabob ($16.99). The Mango Lassi was $5.66. Good food and service in a friendly atmosphere. Lots of parking and close to a bus stop.

I ordered on Doordash. Their kebab is good but a little overpriced. The butter chicken is awful, and it’s supposed to come with rice but I didn’t get any. I love butter chicken from so many other restaurants, but the taste of this stuff makes me nauseous.
