The Avenue Restaurant & Catering was established in 2016 and was the genesis of The Avenue Diner which was founded in 2004. Most of our customers know as “The Ave” and has been a great meeting place in our community for many years. Our claim to fame is our quality service, and our delicious food, not to mention President Elect Barack Obama & Diane Sawer were just some of featured clientele. We are hoping you will become one of our very precious newcomers and become part of The Ave family. We serve breakfast, lunch & dinner seven days a week and have won many coveted fan voted awards. We would like to give a huge thankyou to all of our loyal customers. We know without you we wouldn’t still be here in these difficult times.

A great diner vibe, good food,generous servings, with outstanding SERVICE.
At 11am on a rainy Thursday, the parking lot was jammed. Upon entering I was immediately greeted and shown to a table. A menu arrived with a request for my drink order. Our server was Judy and she’s great at her job: seamlessly making our visit the best possible, including exit strategies lol due to rain. Thanks again Judy, you rock.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner tonight! The food was spot on and our waitress was tremendous. I wasn’t enjoying my iced coffee the first time around and she remade it for me perfectly! One of our favorite places to eat!

Update: 1/12/2025 today I ordered the meat lovers omelette, ham bacon sausage and of course the cheese. I also added a side of kielbasa. This was a nice filling breakfast, got sourdough toast also. My kielbasa cooked perfectly, again a great experience here at the Avenue.
Very good service, I got the Meatlovers breakfast wrap. This was packed with assorted meats on a flour tortilla. Came with a side of hash browns. The hash browns were nice and crispy without being overdone. Will be back.

Did a take out review getting the ham and cheese club and an order of French toast with a side of hash browns. Both were very good, service was dead on point. They told me 15 minutes and it was ready served hot. My fries were delicious and definitely recommend.

Go on Wednesday or Friday nights and it’s 22 dollars for soup, potato vegetable, and a huge lobster tail. And it was all delicious with a friendly staff and a big booth.

A great place for comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere. The front part of the restaurant is a diner and the back room is more of a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I have also been here for several funeral dinners in the back dining room and they did a wonderful job. I would recommend this place for everyday dining to special events that you might want catered. The food is absolutely delicious

The servers here are terrible. The way this place is run is awful. I had to pickup takeout for my mother in law today. While waiting in line to get it two people cut in front of me. A worker just looked at it happen, looked at me and nothing. Then another worker finally comes out, stares at me and I ask her if I can help her with something bc she didn’t say a word. I really don’t know why anyone goes to this restaurant. Many years ago I was a patron, but that ended once I was scolded bc they put pork in their tomato sauce and I ordered it unknowingly. The chef was screaming about it in the kitchen. Never went back to this pit of sadness after that. Only went to grab this take out order, but won’t ever do that again either. I would never suggest this place when we have soooo many good places in the area.
We actually live within walking distance of this restaurant, but still won’t go to it. We drive to the Scratch Kitchen where they have friendly servers and the orders are correct.

Upscale diner with potential. Ordered what claimed to be handcarved turkey which turned out to be a turkey roll or something manufactured as you could still taste what seemed like canning salt. And when your turkey slices are all the same shape and size don’t advertise it as hand carved making it seem legit.

I ordered the eggnog French toast special and it was a small portion (2 small, thin slices of bread) even by my small appetite standards. It was overpowered by cinnamon with no nutmeg….so essentially I was just eating regular cinnamon French toast. My husband ordered the fireman omelet special and it was very sweet. He didn’t eat hardly any of it.
