Absolutely worth it! The Sunday buffet is such a great deal, and they refill dishes quickly so everything stays fresh. The walnut shrimp was hands down my favorite! It’s very kid-friendly, and all the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

It was a great experience. The food is real good and the portions were good. Only thought was they could probably give more rice with the meal. The greeter was awesome and very nice. I would definitely recommend to Friend. Also they have a Sunday buffet which is a plus.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent experience at Chinese Restaurant Sunflower in Cleveland, GA, was truly disappointing.

First, the food quality was shockingly poor. The soup came out cold, and both my daughter’s and my meals were also cold and clearly undercooked. The beef and steak dishes had an off-putting gritty, almost smoochy texture, and the vegetables were so hard it was like they’d barely seen heat. It all felt rushed and thrown together with no care.

When I mentioned the cold soup to our waitress, her response was to say, “I don’t make the soup, and I don’t know when it was made.” I wasn’t looking for an excuse – just wanted it heated up. We barely touched our food and finally decided to ask for the check and leave.

When I brought the issues to the attention of the cook or manager (whoever was in charge), she basically threw the check back at me and told me to just leave. I wanted to pay in full but left feeling deeply disappointed, especially considering I’ve been a loyal customer, spending around $500 here every New Year’s.

It’s sad to see a place I once trusted treat us so poorly. The restaurant was empty – and now I understand why. I won’t be back.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly. They were absolute sweethearts and treated me like family. I often have trouble finding good Chinese food in this area and is the best I have eaten. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is super awesome and I love the fish in the front. It gives off such a nice and lively decor.

I used to come often to this restaurant 10 years ago or so. I’d drive from dahlonega specifically to eat here. Brought a group for a birthday party for the 1st time in a long, long time. We were a party of 7 dining in on Sunday at 1pm. I was horrified when I walked in at the condition of the establishment alone. The carpet was stained and filthy; tables and chairs were sticky. The employees were very nice, but not very attentive to tables. The food was sub par; dried out and missing pieces (no walnut in the walnut shrimp) at prices $13+ a plate. They did bring a plate of sugared donuts for the birthday table but the insides were raw dough. A nice sentiment with poor executions. Sad to see a once bustling and thriving establishment become what it is now.

The staff and atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly, there’s plenty of room, and a very nice aquarium. There is also a neat water feature near the register but it was not fully functioning.

The food is okay. There aren’t many Chinese food places to the complete with and this is probably one of the best but it is still just okay.

The Sunday buffet for $19 is not worth it unless you make multiple trips to the buffet. If you only need to fill your plate once you might feel ripped off.

The desserts on the buffet bar are fair.

Everything looks delicious, more so than it actually is.

This will be our last time eating here we did walnut shrimp not once bit twice in a day an its hard like literally tear your gums up we sent it back an when it came back was same!! This used to be the place back in the day nit anymore we have tried 3 other times than now.. noodles are bland not good at all. Should retire this store instead of embarrassing it even more.

Wow… amazing food. I have Si Chuan beef with rice, it’s so delicious. Kid’s Lo Mian is good, too. Perfect Asian cuisine for the nights you don’t want to cook.
The service is good. My husband loves the chicken rice soup.

We are only in town for a few days, but love Chinese food and when I found Sunflower on goggle we decided to give it a try. We are originally from Hawaii so it has to be good for us. The food here is amazing and very authentic. My sister picked it up and brought it back to the hotel. Everything was hot and so tasty. She said the people were friendly and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Might eat here again before we leave.

Use for takeout and wonder if dining in would result in better quality of dishes. Owner is nice and the only other remark would be on pricing as the menus do not reflect actual / current prices.
