Visited this restaurant at its new location @ 905 E Gregory Street in Pensacola, the atmosphere and decor is very nice with indoor and outdoor seating a very short walk from the Pensacola historic village. Happy hour and daily specials, our food and drinks were very good. Our server Mikayla did a great job , very personable and professional. A great stop if in the area.

Placed a To-Go order of French dip / mashed potatoes for dinner.
My friend mentioned she wanted to try this place so I was excited to get dinner & go see sunset.

The Server who took my order was nice & when I picked up she doubled checked the sandwich was on a GF bun (very appropriated).

Sadly the taste / quality of food didn’t match her efforts. The sandwich was dry (hardly any sauce), very bland meat without any seasoning.
The GF bun was good (would have been better toasted) & dipping sauce was more like water than au jus.

The side of mashed potatoes are cooked in with the meat so tasted similar & just ick.

Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest & seating inside was dark/dreary.
With that said the outside patio seating was a nice space.

Overall it wasn’t worth the $27 & no plans to come again.

We had an amazing experience dining at South Market in Pensacola. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between cozy and upscale. Our waitress, Savannah, was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. We also really appreciated that the owner goes out of her way to make nearly everything gluten-free, which is such a rare and thoughtful touch. It made dining out stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend South Market for anyone looking for delicious food and exceptional service in Pensacola!

Thank you for making such great gluten free food!! There’s not many options in the area and this is phenomenal. I tried the blackberry margarita and the painkiller. They were both delicious and refreshing. Brussel sprout appetizer was perfectly cooked and seasoned. A lot of the time Brussel sprouts are served too undercooked and these were perfectly cooked. Definitely the best I’ve had. Biscuits and gravy and chicken and waffles were 10/10. The special butter for the waffles was amazing! Thank you so much for making great gluten free food. The view was beautiful outside too.

Went on a Sunday night for dinner and the place had a nice, cozy atmosphere. It’s on the smaller side, but the tables are spaced well and the lighting is comfortable not too bright, not too dark.
Our server, Brandon, was great friendly, funny, and overall very chill. The staff definitely made the experience more enjoyable.
The main focus, though, is the food, and unfortunately we didn’t love it. We chose this spot because of the many gluten-free options, which we appreciated. We ordered the flatbread, Cajun chicken pasta, and the mahi mahi with collard greens and mashed potatoes. The Cajun pasta lacked the bold flavor you’d expect, and the mahi mahi was also pretty bland. The mashed potatoes were the biggest disappointment they had a taste of dirty sea water that really threw the dish off. The collard greens were actually the highlight and the most flavorful part of the meal.
I’d consider going back, but probably not for dinner more so for drinks and to hang out, since the atmosphere and staff were definitely the strong points.

The location is such that a pristine view of the bay and the bridge is available from almost every seat in the house. The dining room is spacious and well decorated with watercolor oysters adorning the wall. Our waitress was kind and attentive.

The food was bad. With such a fun presence on social media we were expecting a fun and vibrant meal. We would have been better off at home eating chicken tenders in our underpants.

The food was amazing. It was hot. It was fresh. It was well seasoned to the point. I didn’t have to put any season on my food and let me not forget the mimosas was on point I enjoyed the atmosphere. Everything about this restaurant was on point our server, which is we never knew who it was but Maria, the general manager Came over to assist us she was so professional and very knowledgeable of the menu. I hope the next time me and my husband goes back to this restaurant. Maria is our server so sweet hands down she is the best
