My friend mentioned she wanted to try this place so I was excited to get dinner & go see sunset.
The Server who took my order was nice & when I picked up she doubled checked the sandwich was on a GF bun (very appropriated).
Sadly the taste / quality of food didn’t match her efforts. The sandwich was dry (hardly any sauce), very bland meat without any seasoning.
The GF bun was good (would have been better toasted) & dipping sauce was more like water than au jus.
The side of mashed potatoes are cooked in with the meat so tasted similar & just ick.
Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest & seating inside was dark/dreary.
With that said the outside patio seating was a nice space.
Overall it wasn’t worth the $27 & no plans to come again.
Our server Amber was delightful!
The gluten free buns are the best I’ve ever had! Eating without the worry outside my home is a new experience! We will definitely be back!
Our server, Brandon, was great friendly, funny, and overall very chill. The staff definitely made the experience more enjoyable.
The main focus, though, is the food, and unfortunately we didn’t love it. We chose this spot because of the many gluten-free options, which we appreciated. We ordered the flatbread, Cajun chicken pasta, and the mahi mahi with collard greens and mashed potatoes. The Cajun pasta lacked the bold flavor you’d expect, and the mahi mahi was also pretty bland. The mashed potatoes were the biggest disappointment they had a taste of dirty sea water that really threw the dish off. The collard greens were actually the highlight and the most flavorful part of the meal.
I’d consider going back, but probably not for dinner more so for drinks and to hang out, since the atmosphere and staff were definitely the strong points.
The food was bad. With such a fun presence on social media we were expecting a fun and vibrant meal. We would have been better off at home eating chicken tenders in our underpants.
