Panera has a good product, ok service and atmosphere is good at this location. What is not good! You spend $26.00 for a latte , tea and two bagels and if you want a water from the fountain you are out of luck! No Water for You! No water cups from the counter, no shot glasses by the soda dispenser . Conservatively we spend $ 500.00 plus per year for over fifteen years and I have to drink water from a soup bowl!

I wanted to check out the new location, so we stopped for our favorite beverage, since we ate lunch before an appointment, and it was too early for dinner. They were busy, but only one young man was at the counter, and he was listening to a customer on the phone. Eventually, a young lady approached and accepted my beverage order. This location is much easier to get to the parking lot and to get back on 436; the previous corner location in the next block was difficult. It is more modern and brighter inside. There is also a drive thru in the back of the building. The next time I’m in the area, I’ll probably try the food too. There is no private room for a group to meet, though there are different types of seating.

Review for Panera Bread

I visited this Panera Bread location to use my Unlimited Sip Club membership. When I walked in and asked for a drink, I was assisted by someone wearing a “Team Lead” tag—though no name was displayed. I gave her my phone number multiple times, clearly and slowly, but she insisted it wasn’t showing up in the system.

She then called over another associate named Sophia, who entered my number once and had it working immediately. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the team lead told me I must have given the wrong number and swapped digits, which I knew was untrue. I’ve had the same number for 15 years and repeated it multiple times. At that point, I chose not to respond further, because any reply would’ve felt disrespectful, and I try to avoid escalating situations.

What made the experience even more disappointing was her attitude—no smile, no friendly tone, no kindness. It was clear she didn’t want to be there, and unfortunately, that energy was affecting the entire team. While waiting, I noticed the back-of-house team seemed tense and stressed, which says a lot about how a leader’s mood can impact the whole environment.

I fully understand that team leads have many responsibilities—but taking on that role also means choosing to treat guests with care, respect, and a positive attitude. I hope leadership at this location takes this to heart and supports both the staff and the guest experience moving forward.

Cool, beautiful atmosphere, servers and cashiers are when approaching my friend and I and directing us to where we could pick up our food. We ordered a bowl of broccoli soup with a piese of French bread and two flavored teas. The soups and flavord teas were delicious The price was just right for our budget that day. And I would recommend this place to all my friends because it was very clean.

My recent experience at Panera Bread Aloma was in the drive-through and it was quite unique. While I found the pricing somewhat unexpected, the exceptional service provided by Sophie, who thoughtfully explained the menu to me, ensured a positive encounter. I will be coming back.

I had an Italiano sandwich which was very good. My wife had the Tuscan Chicken and loved it as always. Mirelys is a wonderful and helpful cashier.

Not a bad experience or a great one. Everything went ok from start to finish. The cashier was ok, the food people forget a few details. This place is good, but will never be amazing. They fill a void for certain people, but all and all it’s just a ok soup and sandwich place…

I’ve given this place my buisness for some time but it seems to keep getting worst as I continue to spend my money with Panera. This location specifically. Specially if you go after 1PM I’m not sure if that’s when shift changes but it’s bad. The girl in drive thru Aisha asks you “anything else” in an annoyed voice when all I ask if for a simple order for one person. They constantly forget the side items, the bread usually stale. There is no consistency. The half sandwich will come in a smaller bread than the side. The sandwich assembly is simply sloppy and messy. One day the soup will be watery, the next will be thick and dark. Not sure why it’s so pricey too for 14$. This is my fault though for trying to give them a chance. Will not spend a single dollar here again.
