I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered shrimp soup and asked if the vegetables could be removed. The server told me it wouldn’t be a problem, but the dish arrived with the vegetables still on it. When I pointed this out, the server took the plate back and later explained that she had made a mistake and that the vegetables could not actually be removed. Another server then spoke to me in a very disrespectful tone, saying that next time my request would not be honored and that this was the last time it would be done, whether I liked it or not. I understand mistakes happen, but the way the situation was handled and the tone used were very unprofessional.

It may be time for growth here. This is for regulars who know what they want order up and take out. The dining area has a waiting list 20-30 min. It feels cramped. You are literally elbow to elbow with the next table on Sunday morning. By the time we left there was a line stretching out to the parking lot which can only mean that the food is decent. So you get a cafeteria feeling with your chips and salsa wondering when the food fight starts and if the principle will show up to tell the cook to turn down the banda. Overall it’s a great place to call in your order for take out. Parking is tight as there are two restaurants right next door and a car wash and gas station. You’ll get a little exercise in patience and ingenuity in the parking lot. Seating for party of 4 max at a table. Our table was right next to the entry with the door swooshing behind my back every few seconds so not the best dining experience. I had the chile relleno which gets a 3.5 out of 5.

I went to pick up some pozole for my wife. I put in my order at the counter and ended up waiting 45 minutes for my food. The most they were able to do for me was apologize for my inconvenience. So I called them 2 days later and the manager on duty again only apologize for my inconvenience. Didn’t offer anything. Didn’t try to fix it in any way shape or form. This is bad business. I wasn’t looking for a free handout but waiting 45 minutes for a bowl of soup is outrageous. If you’re in the mood for good food and don’t mind waiting a long time to get it and don’t mind bad service then go here! This place is ridiculous…

Great food, came for breakfast, I had the chilaquiles and a taco de al pastor. My wife had menudo and shrimp and carnitas tacos. The service was great. We were seated pretty fast, and our food came out fast.

An amazing find in Anaheim. Food is delicious; authentic flavor and style. Waitstaff is diligent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It’s a small locale with a huge menu. We keep going back to try other dishes on the menu. The hand-made corn tortillas are delicious!

Came here for some food before heading home. Someone I know mentioned that this place was good. It was very clean and had some people sitting in 7 tables. The tacos were very delicious. The torta de milanesa de res was a little dry both the meat and the torta itself. I got a Mexican soda with a cup of ice. I also got a coffee which was very good. I don’t usually drink hot coffee I prefer iced coffee but I would drink this hands down. Overall I had a good experience. I heard the menudo is good

Went for breakfast on a weekday shortly after they opened, the dining area stayed about half full the whole time but lots of phone orders were being placed. I got the Machaca and it was so flavorful but I wasn’t aware that the peppers listed on the menu weren’t bell peppers but instead serranos. It was spicy! The beans and rice were delicious and I’ll come back just for sides of those. Plus you get fresh handmade corn tortillas. The ladies working were great and I’ll be returning to try their lunch/dinner menu.
