Guys I have been working down the street for almost two months now and I have been to this Pollo Tropical 5x times… i have been eating at Pole tropical ever since I was very young.When they only had a few locations… and that’s why I’m leaving my review.Because I am impressed with this location.The food is very delicious. The sauces are very important that they are consistent. I cannot stress how important the sauces need to stay consistency.And they do that here every time. The food is delicious. Now let’s talk about service when I tell you.It’s always nice to see a friendly face and someone with a positive attitude and you can get that right here when you’re getting your food. I always order the same plate .Because I’m very simple, like that.The half of chicken rice and beans , they give you the hawaiian rolls with it… very, important that you take your sauce’s with you.I recommend the Pollo Pollo spice and the cilantro garlic sauce.. it hit everything. This is the second time I’ve been to this Pollo Tropical, and I received extraordinary service from a manager named *GONZALO*, who managed the restaurant’s service exceptionally well. His warm manner and friendly approach demonstrated excellent customer service. I don’t regret going to this restaurant; he’s a great manager, and I hope to see him again next time.

On Friday night and Last night, I was going to this tropical pollo, I observe everything and I really appreciate the service inside the restaurant ,the space is clean, welcoming and fast, and I really appreciate this manager *GONZALO* for this effort to take care of this restaurant and he knows how to welcome customers ,maybe I am the only one to talk about him ,but I think many people appreciate him ,I have experience in management too, I assure you he knows what he is doing.

I have been coming to this location for about three years now. I have had some great and also OK experiences Especially later at night when food runs out. But the past few nights I have had extremely amazing customer service with Emmanuel. And also with Stephy, they are both Amazing!!
Not only are they quick and efficient, they are both also extremely kind, and make sure my order is complete before handing it out to me.

After work I obviously went to dinner and I find the pleasant surprise that there were no beans… I couldn’t believe that in a Pollo Tropical there are no beans…
The order took a long time, they give more priority to the drive thru and all the orders go wrong.
If I had read the reviews first, I wouldn’t even have thought of coming here. The cashier who attended us apologized many times and his face even fell out of shame.
To the owners or those in charge of these places…

I placed an online order and went through the drive-thru since the line inside was long and my 1-year-old was asleep in the car. When I got to the window, the employee told me I was “wasting my time and other customers’ time” because online orders are for pickup inside. I explained my situation, but she simply replied that my order would be ready “at 2:00 — in exactly one minute.”
I ended up parking, waking my son, and going inside to get the food — which made the experience unnecessarily stressful. To make things worse, the “large” TropiChop portion was much smaller than expected.
I understand there are procedures for online orders, but a little empathy and flexibility would go a long way. It might help to allow quick drive-thru pickups for parents with sleeping children or special circumstances — it would make a big difference in customer satisfaction.

The Pollo Tropical on Wiles and University is a newer location for the Franchise. Rating a franchise restaurant should be based on the standard of the chain. This location is fantastic and friendly. The store is clean and the condiment bar is kept clean. The drink area and restrooms are also clean. Food service can be slow at times as the Pollo queue model is bad, but they are improving. The chicken is always fresh and tasty. The rice and black beans are also great. I typically get a 1/2 chicken with just the beans, rice and a side of plantains. I love their Plantains and suggest you get the caramelized little bananas. They are great. Staff is friendly and the drive thru is a nice service.
