El Restaurante El Grill, conocido popularmente como el grill del aeropuerto (por su proximidad al mismo), se ha convertido, después de más de 35 años de andadura, en un referente en la gastronomía de Menorca y en un lugar habitual de los amantes de la buena mesa, por la calidad de su producto, por su excelente servicio y por su privilegiada situación. La carta de El Grill ofrece platos elaborados con productos naturales y autóctonos de primera calidad, que forman parte de la cocina mediterránea, y que en su mayor parte el cliente puede ver expuestos en la sala y escoger el que le apetezca, además de poder observar cómo se preparan en la parrilla de carbón natural de encina, también a la vista.

This meal was totally surprisingly good! My colleagues were leaving Menorca today so we had our meal next to the airport. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor seating area but it wasn’t open (probably because the weather is not warm enough).
Anyways onto the food. Every dish was amazing. We also got a plate of bread with grazed tomatoes (a typical Spanish dish) as appetizers, and each of us got our own plate. I ordered the lamb shank, and it was so perfectly crispy on the outside and lightly salted with flaky salt (but I added a little bit more salt bc I like to have my lamb more seasoned). The grilled peppers were amazing, and the potatoes were still crispy. What amazed me was the sauce. The sauce was reduced from the lamb juice and the potatoes soaked it up perfectly. My colleague ordered a lechón and it was also perfectly crispy on the outside (the skin).
The service was amazing as well because the wait staff was very attentive and they gave us some amazing recommendations.
We finished the meal with almost clean plates, and I definitely cleaned the bones of the lamb shank.
It was a great experience, and I was surprised it was next to the airport! I highly recommend anyone who had some time to wait for their flight!

We have been here 6 times (reserved under my wife’s name: helm 😉 and we really enjoyed it! Menu is very varied and there’s something for everyone, including vegetarian. Chloe, her father and her colleagues are very friendly and service-oriented. Parking is more than sufficient and it is easy to drive, which is not important. Prices are good for what you get .In short, recommended A+!

The Grill is situated right next to the airport, but stepping into the outdoor area you quickly forget about the rather unappealing location outside. Here, they created a little haven and we didn’t hear the planes at all. We didn’t have a reservation so we were lucky when we arrived, as just a few tables were left. The food was great, the wine delicious, but it seems that they didn’t have enough staff for that evening. The only negative thing was when we were brushed off by a waiter who we asked for something after we had been waiting for a while – but the moment was quickly saved by the manager. Overall, we had a nice evening with good steak. We saw a lot of other tables order the Tomahawk steak which we didn’t have as we got the Entrecôte. The owner was super attentive and tried to make the evening special for every guest.

Amazing restaurant. I’ve been going for many years, the location is very good, close to the airport so perfect begore take a flight or after just landed.
This restaurant is open all year around, Christmas and New Year’s included.
