Never been to a Cook Out before. Tried this one twice since it was close to my hotel. It’s OK, but nothing special.
Burger was ok. Cheese curds were actually great. Hush puppies tasted like mostly sugar and had no flavor.
On a different night I got chicken quesadillas. They don’t have salsa and none of the sauces they did have seemed to fit with that kind of food. I ate it plain and it was a little spicy, so kind of OK.
The employees seemed kind enough.

I went to Cook Out without expectations and ordered a tray combo to go with a burger, fries, and a quesadilla. The taste was excellent, and the portion size was enough for even two people. I think this chain offers great value for the price, and I’d definitely like to go again.

I will never return here. I waited patiently for the employee to finish their business on their phone to place my order. I was treated like a bother during all of my interactions with this employee. I don’t know what is going on with them, but I didn’t deserve any of that even when I remained cordial through it all.

DISAPPOINTED! Stopped here for a quick bite! The sign was off so thought it was closed at first but thought it’s 6:45pm so how are they closed. Turns out the drive-thru open late sign was lit on the backside of the building. Got in the drive thru line (only one car in front of us) took them longer than it should have to order. Our turn to order and the system sounded bad at first. Couldn’t understand what the window worker was saying. After letting her know, she came through clearer so it was probably user error. Notified the young lady at the window about the sign & someone turned it on. She was polite. We received our food, the fries were cold & needed some salt (there was none). My small burger was a joke! When I picked it up, I literally thought someone forgot to put the patty on my bun. Oh no, it was there but looked more like a piece of a patty (see pic)! It was half the size of my palm. For two meals at $16 this should have been better. I ate it b/c it was literally the only meal I had after a busy day. Burger & hushpuppies were cold too. I mean there was only one car in line besides us! My husband’s meal was the same. He ordered a double burger & the patty’s were so little it looked like one (the way mine should have looked). Take the few extra minutes to drop some hot fries, cook a decent patty, and make sure things are right. I’d give 1-star but I’m just not a mean person. I should have gone to Wendy’s. Must do better!

The usual Cookout experience – plenty of food at a great price!
Our group of 5 stopped in to this location after a long day of travel in December 2023. It happened to be my older daughter’s 17th birthday and when the employees overheard us singing to her, they were kind enough to join in and then bring her a complimentary milkshake – how cool is that?!?!
As is the case with any Cookout we’ve visited, it’s a casual, no frills environment that offers good food at a good price.

Id rather eat a regular burger at McDonald’s for 2 bucks less. This was a major disappointment. The patty was so small and consumed by bread. All bun, little burger. The burger was thin and dry and had I not had them smother it in sauces and add tomato and onion, there wouldnt be much at all. Not sure what all the hype is but this was mediocre at best.

Good, friendly, fast service. I ordered a small combo with a burger, white cheddar cheese bites, and a float. Everything tasted good, the burger and bites were warm. Initially the amount of cheese bites was the same size as a single order from my last visit. After asking about it at the counter the person said typically 7-14 per order but this looks small (photo pre second order). They put another order in for me and I got it within a few minutes. Great service.

First time visiting. Most cost-effective meal I’ve had in a very long time! Everyone in my group ordered the “tray” and upgraded to milkshakes. The milkshakes were amazing – super thick and I had no choice but to use a spoon, perfect! The burger was flavorful and so much better than I’d expected for the price. Never in my life have I been offered a corn dog as a side option but, there is a first for everything! The atmosphere was very much a fast food/quick service place. Plenty of parking in the back and on the side for those who aren’t about parallel parking out front.

Standing in line waiting on my order and In walks a man with a bull terrier (was not a service dog) and started jumping up on the counter not once but several times. The cashier said nothing and backed up each time the dog jumped up there. I love dogs but not jumping where they are getting ready to serve my food. No manager nothing. Will not eat there again.
