Since 1983, Sandy’s Donuts has been a beloved family tradition, starting with Sandy Ostlund and his mom’s buttermilk donut recipe. Our West Fargo store at 301 Main Ave offers 75+ donut varieties, a full coffee menu including house-roasted blend and espresso drinks, and a cozy space for families, friends, or a quick stop before the game. Grab a caramel roll, a box for the office, or use our drive-thru if you’re in a hurry. Every donut and coffee is made with the same care that started Sandy’s journey, continuing a legacy of quality and community for over 40 years.

Sandy’s Donuts absolutely lived up to the hype! With over 85 varieties, the selection is out of this world — but what really made our visit memorable was the amazing recommendation from the friendly staff. One of the girls behind the counter pointed us toward a blueberry donut, and it ended up being one of the best we’ve ever had — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
The shop has a fun, inviting vibe that makes it more than just a quick stop. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Fargo, Sandy’s is a must-visit for donut lovers. We’ll definitely be back!

Quick and polite drive thru servuce! Espresso, tea, pastry and donuts. They have a nice mix of traditional yeast donuts, old fashioned donuts and creative options like mochi donuts and seasonal options. My favorite is the caramel roll. They are the best! Pastries are huge!

Best doughnuts in the region hands-down. You will find all sorts of doughnuts certain to appeal to any person. We bought 8 dozen assorted doughnuts for the Fargo Exotic Pet Expo in 2025 for our vendor breakfast. They loved every one. Note we didn’t call ahead or anything but the guy at the counter helped us out and got us back out the door in less than 10 minutes so we could get to the show. Awesome service!

Love that they have vegan donut options! But was so sad they were nearly sold out when we arrived 🙁 they only had Cookie Monster ones left but it was still pretty good. The Oreo in the middle was stale but to be expected since they’re sitting out. Oh & the blue frosting will stain everything btw

Sandy’s is a Fargo staple with the best donuts around. Between dining in and also delivery to local convenience stores, you can get them just about anywhere in the area. Plenty of options for donuts, bismarks, twists, coffees, and more! As always, this is a must-stop any time I am in Fargo.

An awesome variety of donuts to choose from. The donuts were delicious and were a hit at work with my colleagues. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are two registers for checkout and a drive through. Plenty of seating inside if you want to sit and enjoy your donut. They also have drinks available as well. Highly recommended!

It’s donut heaven! Soooo many delicious flavors to choose from. The coffee is surprisingly good & strong too! The one we go to in West Fargo is always clean & the staff is friendly. My only complaint is there’s not a Sandy’s Donuts in South Dakota. It’s just a fun place to go to. Even at my age.

The donuts were delicious, but the service was outstanding. The lady who helped me told me she was confident she would see me again! She was so pleasant and friendly. I will definitely be back!

If you don’t know about Sandy’s let me tell you: it’s near religion for these goofy Fargo folks. They do a great job, I often bring them to customers, everyone loves it. I occasionally bring them to my own children, they freak out. It’s a weird northerner thing. Try them out if you’re in the neighborhood.

I’ve only had Sandy’s a couple times, but it’s been great! Go early for the best selection of donuts, but whatever we’ve gotten in the afternoon has still been delicious. Employees are very friendly. The fritters are HUGE, get one to share. I love their lattes if you’re a coffee-with-your-donuts person. I tried the mocha, and it was a good coffee, but it’s not a very strong mocha flavor if you’re into that – I’ll stick with the flavored lattes. The only thing I’d change is that I wish they were open a little later in the afternoon when I usually like to make a coffee run.
