A hole in the wall place where you get authentic Bangladeshi cuisine. Had some amazing food. Ambience and service is okay. Surprisingly very reasonable rates.
Ilish pulao, langcha type red color sweet, potato fry, shrimp with loti was yumm, ilish all dishes were great. Not a fan of the white rice served but overall amazing food experience.

Awesome Bengali food. Authentic Bengali taste and flavours. I loved the place. They have a mouth watering sweet collection and a variety of fish. Also, different kinds of meat are available. The staff was very welcoming and very polite. They prepared the food in 10 15 minutes.
I highly recommend the vorta platter, fish and mutton. The caramel pudding was very delicious. I loved the restaurant and wish to go again and again.

A diverse menu: fish curries (like ilish pulao), bhortas (mashed veggie/chili side dishes), samosas and other comfort foods.
• Vegetarian and vegan-friendly options are available.
• Good for take-out or casual dine-in, especially if you’re looking for flavors not always found in mainstream South Asian restaurants.

We did takeout from this Bangladeshi Restaurant couple of times. Hilsa (Ilish) Curry, Pangash Fish Curry, Hilsa (Ilish) Pulao, Tiger Shrimp Curry, Mughlai Paratha. All of dishes are delicious. Specifically, all those Fish Curries & size of fishes are very decent & qualities are good too. Grown up as Indian Bengali we really like their cuisine style. Will definitely order more.

On the occasion of the Eid festival, numerous Bangladeshi restaurants were closed, prompting us to explore a new dining spot. Having traveled from Philadelphia and being somewhat unfamiliar with the area, we relied on Google for guidance – a decision that proved fortunate! The majority of the dishes we sampled were not only delectable but also authentically Bangladeshi. It’s important to note that this establishment was distinctly Bangladeshi, not an Indian restaurant. The server was incredibly helpful, offering expert recommendations for our evening. We look forward to returning to this establishment in the future.

Their Kolija Shingara is a must try item. Really good. I also liked their chai. We had different types of bengali curries with rice. Food were good. Some curries were really spicy but tasted good. Can’t complain about the cleanliness. If you are in Jackson Heights, you know how it is.. service was okay too.

Worst food among all the bangali restaurants.
First time i went there for dinner I didn’t get any fresh food. Gave them a second chance and yet couldn’t serve freshly made food. Today i went there after 4/5 months for dinner and I literally wasted my money, time and food. Had to return their beef curry which did not seemed worth $10. Their complimentary daal had hair in it, and they said they will change it but never came back. None of the food was tasty enough to compensate.

Went with some friends and we’re excited to have the Haleem. My friend found some human hair in the Haleem and I found a fly/bug. The customer service was terrible and they acted like it was not a big deal. Still tried to charge us for the food. My friends still had to pay.

I had lunch at Haat Bazaar Restaurant and had a fantastic time. I’m going there for the first time their foods are amazing, especially the Fish menu. I order Ilish pulao, mutton kacchi biryani, and Golda chingri. I tried Ilish
pulao, and Golda chingri for the first time. I’m in love with their Ilish pulao definitely trying it again. honestly, golda chingri wasn’t the best I believe because it didn’t taste fresh enough but if anyone went to Bangladesh they may like the fish there since they’re fresher than the one we can get in the USA. The waiter was friendly and polite. If you enjoy Bengali cuisine, this is a must-try place.

Crowded, yet the most popular shopping and eating place, compared to other similar Bangladeshi places in Jackson Heights.
Haat Bazar has a Restaurant and a grocery. The restaurant serves Bangladeshi food, Kebabs and snack items, including sweet meat.
While the grocery has halal meat, fish and vegetables, matching Bengali taste. It also caters to the Bengali spices and toiletries. Reasonably priced but restaurant items seems to be on the higher side.
So far cleanliness is concerned, I can not give more than a three star, but for tasty food and snack items, they definitely deserve 4 stars.
