McWenthy’s Tavern absolutely nailed their Food and Flick experience! A group of friends and I met up for their screening of Hocus Pocus, and from start to finish it was pure, witchy fun. It was the perfect mix of nostalgia, great food, and quality time with people I love catching up with.
The themed menu was such a creative touch—each dish tied cleverly into iconic moments from the movie. It made ordering feel like part of the adventure, and everything we tried was delicious. A few of us even came dressed in movie-inspired attire, which only added to the charm. McWenthy’s thought of everything, including a special Hocus Pocus photo backdrop, and of course we had a mini photoshoot afterward. Too good to pass up!
Even though the event was sold out, it never felt crowded or overwhelming. The vibe was lively without being loud, and the staff was prompt, courteous, and impressively organized, keeping everything running smoothly so we could fully enjoy the night.
And here’s the biggest tip: book this experience fast. These Food and Flick events are known to sell out within an hour of being posted. They’re that good.

We had another wonderful experience here last night! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered cheese curd as an appetizer, My daughter ordered the Italian beef sandwich, and I had the brazino the fish was cooked to perfection. Special thanks to our server, Ryan. He is always smiling, attentive, and detail-oriented, making sure everything is just right. We’ve never had a bad experience here, and last night was no exception. We’ll definitely be back! First time here. Chef came out to greet several customers, very friendly. Bartender was awesome, talented with cocktails. Their espresso martini is exactly what you expect with real espresso! They have a homemade blueberry lemonade/gin cocktail that’s fantastic. A new special Hungarian chicken with dumplings. This is farm to table place, excellent. Recommend!!

Fantastic place to dine in but unhappy with take out. The $9 soup came in a tiny container and the skillet cookie was literally mangled in the container (I have ordered this take out before and it was never mangled. I know they were busy but this was disappointing…and not inexpensive.

We’ve been coning here for about 3 years now, and had my 75th birthday dinner there last year. Our servers as well as the hostess were so helpful, particularly with providing activities for my young great-grandkids and cut the cake we brought as well as took pictures of us with my family. The French onion soup was outstanding, as was the crab cakes main course.
The food is always excellent, as is the service. Everything is well-prepared, with a deliciously creative flair.

Highly recommend nights when jovita is working. All other times it is good too but she was the best waitress I ever had. She helped make the best shrimp and pasta modification dish for my special needs sister was super knowledgeable of the menu and recommendations plus very personable and attentive. Every restaurant needs a waitress like her. Will come back for the food and her service multiple times.

My friend had her grandma’s celebration of life party here. The food and service were awesome. Like for real awesome. And they had us ina. Beautiful side room with a bar that perfectly fit our party. It was a great way to enjoy a difficult time. Servers were discreet because of the type of event we were having. They moved effortlessly through without disrupting anything. The bartender was really friendly too

Absolutely a hidden gem. We chose to sit outside. Great views of the golf course. Our waiter was on point with his recommendations. I never drink margaritas on the rocks, but their strawberry margarita was on point. I ordered the featured special. It was a pork shank with a brown butter and apple glaze gnocchi. Without a doubt, this was the best pork dish I have ever had in my life. If you’ve been on the fence about trying McWethys out, I highly recommend not putting it off any longer.
