Service was good, restaurant was nice. So I was very disappointed when my chips & salsa came…they came straight from a nacho chip bag. In addition, chilaquiles were salty, no spice, and my egg was overcooked. And what Mexican restaurant doesn’t have barbacoa on Sunday at least?!

Amazing “hole in the wall” yet much more than that! They have the best shrimp
quesadillas anywhere!! We frequently searched for these quesadillas when we lived in Dallas to no avail! These have perfect amount of shrimp with just enough cheese to give you a melt in your mouth awesome taste!! Highly recommend!! Oh—great on the rocks margaritas, too!!!

2nd visit. Yup the salsa is still salty. So it wasn’t an off night. I had carne guisada which really didn’t have much flavor. Beans and rice were pretty average. It seems that the menu here is hit and miss.
Good option for late night eats. I want to stop by and try breakfast. I ordered the nachos Jalisco which were very good. Lots of cheese, beans and meat. Service was pretty good. The salsa was very salty for some reason.

This is literally the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I normally order from door dash. Today, I went inside; what a treat! The atmosphere here is so fun with music, murals, the waitresses, the bar…I’m coming back.

Loved – must order again
• Their sauces in bottles – ask for the Jalapeno Green Sauce bottle
• Al Pastor **
• The Torta! Ask for grilled onions ****
• Migas plate
• Grilled jalapenos ****
– pancakes
Liked – not bad
• Carne Guisada taco – decent (almost no cumin taste)
• Chicken tortilla soup. A bit too much oregano and tortilla chips for my liking. But would order again. Get regular soup bowl size. Large was way too big.
• Picadillo taco. Ground beef
Ok – average
• Egg Chorizo Potato taco
Did not like
• Beef Fajita taco

Used to be our favorite go to spot for Mexican food in Cedar Park. Not anymore. The food was not good. I got the beef enchiladas and the beef tacos for my kids. We could not finish our food. I don’t know what kind of “ground beef” that was, but it was horrible! It looked like it was from a can and the texture of it was mushy. I’ve never tasted ground beef like that. Rice has no flavor, very bland. I don’t know how you mess up rice. The waitress we had, she was hardly available. The place wasn’t busy, so not sure why it took so long for her to come check on us. We will not be returning here again. The new owners have work to do.

Excellent authentic Mexican food. As a prior San Diego native, this place is great. My husband loves the carne asada. This is our 3rd time here. Highly recommend.

Very good Mexican food. Their green chilaquiles are probably the best thing on the menu. This salsas are delicious and their prices are very reasonable. I also tried their barbacoa and it’s pretty darn good. The service was on pint and the staff was very friendly. Very good atmosphere. I will definitely be back.
