The Yemen Kitchen was incredible, this very nice gentleman Mr. Walid offered a free meal in exchange for my review and I have to say that it was absolutely delicious. I was so hungry on my way to Maza Foods for some grocery shopping in Yemen Kitchen satisfied my hunger at the best time. The chicken was mouthwatering good, the skin was crunchy and crispy, it had the most delicious aromatic seasonings, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I was so happy to share this with one of my coworkers when I got back to work. Anybody in need of a super delicious lunch please stop by Yemen Kitchen.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and truly made us feel at home.

They also offer excellent catering services professional, on time, and the quality of the food is just as incredible as dining in the restaurant. Whether it’s for parties, events, or special occasions, their catering is highly reliable and always impresses the guests.

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!

I’ve had lunch from Yemen Kitchen (MAZA) more than once, and every time it’s been nothing short of amazing. I usually get the chicken with rice, salad, fresh bread, and a few other items — the food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot. You can tell it’s made with care and authenticity.

One of the best parts? The location. The restaurant is in the same building as the newly opened Maza Supermarket. It’s incredibly convenient — you can place your order, go shop for groceries, and come back to your food ready and waiting.

The environment is clean and welcoming, and the service is outstanding. The staff are respectful, friendly, and go out of their way to ensure every customer has a great experience. I’ve met some of the employees and the owner personally — they’re genuinely kind and dedicated people who care about the quality of their food and service.

Regarding the one negative review left by someone who visited on Eid day — I think it’s important to be fair. That day was extremely busy, with long lines due to the holiday and the large number of customers, which is completely understandable. Despite the pressure, the team worked hard to serve everyone, and they deserve appreciation for that.

If you’re in the Dearborn area, I highly recommend giving Yemen Kitchen (MAZA) a try. Whether you dine in or take out, you’ll enjoy delicious food, respectful service, and a genuinely warm atmosphere.

Tucked inside the bustling Maza Foods supermarket in Dearborn, Yemen Kitchen is a hidden gem that delivers bold, authentic Yemeni flavors with impressive speed and warmth. Despite its humble location, this spot serves up dishes that rival high-end restaurants — and at a fraction of the cost.

One of the standout features is their fresh fish, made to order. You can choose your fish right at the counter, and they’ll grill or fry it to perfection, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. It’s rare to find fish this fresh and well-prepared without a long wait, but Yemen Kitchen handles it with efficiency.

For those with a heartier appetite, the whole lamb option is a showstopper — fall-off-the-bone tender, deeply seasoned, and perfect for sharing with a group or for special occasions. Paired with fragrant rice, it’s a feast you won’t forget.

No Yemeni meal is complete without Yemen bread, and here it’s served hot and fresh — slightly crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside. It’s perfect for scooping up the fattoush salad, which is bright, tangy, and refreshing, adding a Mediterranean balance to the meal.

To finish, the authentic Yemeni tea is a must. Aromatic and subtly spiced, it’s the ideal companion to round off your meal — and a true taste of Yemeni hospitality.

Service is impressively fast, even during busy hours, making Yemen Kitchen a top pick for a quick yet satisfying lunch or dinner. Whether you’re picking up groceries or seeking an authentic meal, Yemen Kitchen is a flavorful detour worth making.

Totally blown away, open just three months ago. Attached to Maza Arabic Supermarket with separate entrance. I found out at the end Waleed is owner, had a fantastic restaurant in Southend Dearborn. We were regular customers at the Dix Road place and now will be back here for much more. Ordered the Whole Yemeni Char Chicken on a massive bed of Rice OMG Delicious . The Chicken melts in yo mouth, truly a must try great price. $20 bucks Lamb Soup, Large Fatoush Salad took half home. Had Rashoosh Yemeni Bread truly a favorite of mine. Lamb Liver Kibda absolutely very best ever Eaten, comes on a sizzling platter with Mater’s Onions and Jalapenos on top. Perfection is stuffing some inside the bread, a instant addiction . Plenty for two meals, I Love leftovers. Next visit will ship in the mega supermarket, then have lunch. Spotless clean dining room and restrooms, fast friendly service n great prices . Think Michigan avenue and Miller Road just a block over. #yemankitchen @mazafoods #mazafoods #yemenifood #yemenichicken #lambsoup #kibda #lambliver #rashoosh

Stopped here for the first time today. The staff were very nice and helped me with my order. I got the saltah with tuna and arika for dessert. The food was made fresh and it was delicious, especially the bread served with it.

The Food Was Cold The Salad Had been Made And Kept For Days The Lamb Meat Was Also Cold. The Service Is Not Good At All We Ordered Couple Of Things For The Kids And They Did Not Bother To Tell Us That They Didn’t Have Chicken Anymore Until We Went And Asked. Also Bathrooms Are Very Dirty And The Smell Makes You Want To Throw Up The Food You Ate.

It was my first time visiting this place, and I’m so glad I did. The moment I picked up my breakfast and set it in the car, the aroma filled every corner, wrapping me in warmth before I even took the first bite. As I drove home with Foaud Alkibsi playing softly in the background, the fragrance carried me back to mornings in Sana’a, Yemen—when the air outside the small restaurants was rich with the smell of freshly made breakfast. Those were the days of simplicity and peace, and for a moment, it felt like I was right there again.

I’ve tried Yemeni food elsewhere, but nothing has matched this. This restaurant doesn’t just serve food—it recreates memories. It brought me back home, even if just for a drive. I can’t recommend it enough, and I truly wish them continued success and growth. This place is a gem.
