I just wanted to take a moment to share the amazing service I received at the McDonald’s located at 700 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720. I went through the drive-thru today (7/20/2025) at 12:48 PM, and I was genuinely impressed.
The staff was incredibly friendly, and the entire crew seemed organized and motivated—they looked like they truly enjoyed working there. Huge props to both the crew and management for maintaining such a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment.
My order was handled with great attention to detail, and I felt truly cared for. As I was about to leave, a member of management even offered me the chance to try their new creamy chili sauce—a small gesture, but it really showed the extra effort they put into customer satisfaction.
This is exactly how fast food service should be. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by this location. You won’t regret it!

Lowkey upset! After a 12 hour shift I just wanted something good to eat so that I could wind down. Unfortunately when I ordered the person even repeated no onions and no pickles. Once I got home to eat I find that everything I asked for to be taken off was indeed on my food.

Polite and reasonably quick going through the drive-thru. The McRib sandwiches were very messy in the box, though. They weren’t assembled very well. Convenient location for us as we drive.

Stopped by and did the in-app ordering and curbside delivery. They were pretty quick and were kind enough to even bring the food out along with an assortment of condiments and sauces to ask if I wanted any of those as well. Very nice service person.

The young lady who took my order was very nice and professional. However, the young man who gave me my food was not. The food was cold, which was not his fault. But when u asked for different food, he instantly got angry at me and stared at me as if I was the problem. He then said I would have to wait over there for hot food, again very angry. I didn’t trust him with my food any longer. I opted to just leave. I told him, “Never mind. He gave me back the welted fries and stared at me with all this misplaced anger. I just left.

I’m a door dasher, and came in.. and they’re all just talking in the back, I stopped 3 people from they’re break to tell them who I was picking up for.. and they weren’t much help, all the man got was a snack wrap and a drink.. it should not be more then 20mins!
