First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. This is the BEST First Watch location I’ve ever been to! I mean, they’re all great…but I’ve seen staff here work together like none other. Selena Richard and Steve are absolutely amazing!!!!

We Sarasotoans appreciate a yummy breakfast and lunch place, BUT! That does not give First Watch the opportunity to throw all sheets to the wind for online or to-go orders. Really deficient. Be advised: you will come in the restaurant to pick up your to-go order and you’ll be happy to see it on the shelf — the bag(s) are waiting for you in the rack near the door. And like the trusting person that you are, you won’t check the bag for all the items in your order until you get home. Good luck.
We could make this quantitative. I have been shorted or had my order goofed up (online ordering) AT LEAST three times over the years. And after forgetting the pain, like a moron, I gave FW another chance.
How novel would this be? Let’s conduct an experiment, FW Management! I’ll order online every day for a week and let’s see how many you get right. Not optimistic.

The food is really good they make some great dishes the service is exceptional. The only reason I gave the atmosphere three stars is it’s nice atmosphere nothing special but very nice. I would highly recommend you eat at this restaurant for breakfast or lunch

There was a wait for our table but the server who took our name at the door (petite young woman w dark hair) pointed us to a free coffee station (mini cups – which was just enough to take care of us till we were seated at our table for a bigger cup of joe). Brilliant and exemplary service for your waiting customers!
We had a table of six people. Matthew was our server and he was fantastic. Very efficient, informative and friendly. He asked all the right questions, down to making sure folks had lemon for their water…. Details matter. He made sure our food was exactly what we ordered. Excellent service. We’d go back just to sit in his section.
