I recently tried Dominican food for the first time, and it was truly a new experience for me. The dishes were incredibly flavorful and absolutely delicious. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helped us a lot, explaining many things and making us feel very welcome. They were genuinely kind and supportive.

Excellent customer service, waitress there are very courteous and always checking on you if you need anything and make you feel well. Very nice presentation, the restaurant feels like a nice place to go with your family on a Sunday. Food was ok, could be better. I ordered rotisserie chicken and did not met my expectations. Seems to me was not ready. I feel food could have better presentations at the windows (buffet style).

We decided to come down by the water from Rahway to get some good Spanish Food. I saw some good reviews for Don Manuel and I’m glad they lived up to the reviews. The food was delicious, the pernil was amazing. They give you a very generous portion of both rice and meat. I will definitely come back and try other things in the future.

Bought 2 chicken soup with white rice. Did not get the rice I paid for. Disappointed. The soups were great on a rainy day. The lady who attended to me was friendly and courteous but obviously not attentive. I should have checked but it was a simple order. Even tipped her.

Food was decent ; not spectacular but not bad either. Waitress was working hard but they also had her working the takeout counter as well. This led to an overly long wait for our food. Restrooms also need to be cleaned. Yucca was very good with a garlic source. BBQ chicken was standard. Not a bad place but nothing to get excited about either.

The ladies at Don Manuel Mexican Restaurant are simply amazing. They donated enough food to feed our hungry construction crew lunch while doing storm cleanup after Hurricane Helene. And the food was amazing!! Many of our employees came up to tell us how much they enjoyed the food! 5 Stars!!!

I bought this flan from here today and found a bug on it. At first I thought it wasn’t but after closely zooming in with my phone, I noticed it was a bug. This is why sometimes it’s just better to eat at home.
