First and foremost the hostess was very polite and got us sat in about 15 minutes and they were packed on valentines then the server we got was absolutely amazing she was very tentative and so friendly and polite and made us feel at home her name was Shannon and she just had a way with her self that she made us feel like we were family she even took a few pictures for us see below, also she checked back with us even though she was very busy tending to other customers, and compliments to the chef and prep cooks food came out timely and cook to protection we will definitely be back.

I planned a special lunch date with my niece at the Red Lobster in Sandusky, and what we experienced went far beyond a simple meal — it was truly unforgettable.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by name and led to a beautifully reserved table just for us. Waiting at the table was a perfectly made Shirley Temple for my niece (she had never had one and wanted told me she wanted to try it) — such a thoughtful touch that instantly made her feel special. But that was just the beginning.

Shortly after, the team brought over a live lobster for her to see and even touch — something she had never done before and will talk about for years. She was glowing with excitement, and I was blown away by how intentional and kind the staff were in creating that magical moment for her.

Our server was absolutely top-notch: friendly, patient, and incredibly accommodating. Every course came out perfectly timed, and we felt so well taken care of the entire time. But the showstopper? A surprise dessert with a personalized commemorative message written beautifully on the plate — a gesture that made the moment feel even more special and meaningful.

A massive thank you to Dan, the manager, who orchestrated this incredible experience. He came in ON HIS DAY OFF to make sure everything was in place….WOW! His attention to detail, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel like honored guests rather than just customers. He clearly leads his team with heart, and it shows.

If you’re looking for more than just a meal — if you want a memory — this is the Red Lobster to visit. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it at a chain restaurant. Five stars isn’t enough!

I placed a delivery order with Sandusky’s Red Lobster, and received it by way of Door Dash. When I noticed that I was missing two of my items, I called the delivery guy about it, and he says he brought the bag that was handed to him by Red Lobster. I then talk to a Christie at the restaurant, who was very understanding. She told me that my payment card would show a reimbursement within two days.I can only hope that her word is more reliable than the service I received.

Food tasted good. Service not good. Waitress was slow with everything. Charged me for a bowl of chowder but only got a cup , but paid for a $9.00 bowl. We waited almost a half hour to get our bill. Asked 2 other servers if they could get my bill. My Waitress never came back. I left her a good tip, but didn’t feel she deserved it. I liked the food but for the cost of the meal and the poor service it wouldn’t be high on my list of places to visit.

Went out for our daughter’s 17th birthday, as red lobster is her favorite place. KK was beyond amazing, she was engaging, on top of everything and decorated her cheesecake for her birthday. Awesome experience, thank you KK!

We went in on New Year’s Eve day around 11 AM. Just want to say we had the most amazing experience from the time we walked through the doors. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, the food was hot and delicious as always, and we were happy with everything. Our server was amazing and even the other servers took the time to acknowledge us and say hi. Will definitely be back. Thank you and happy new year.

The service by KK was quick and efficient. I ordered a pound of crab legs towards the end of my original meal that was delayed. KK ensured I was made aware and offered a resolution. That said, when you come to Red Lobster in Sandusky be sure to ask for KK.
