I love going here for some flavored water and a tastey burger. I always get a route 44 water with their sugar-free peach flavoring just to get that hint of flavor and it’s delicious. My favorite when it’s in season is their Pickle burger. It has such a strong flavor and it makes my mouth water. The service lately has been even better than in recent years, especially Paul at the 3518 Matlock location. He is fantastic and extremely welcoming and friendly.

Paul is awsome! He offers great customer service with a great attitude! Also, I complained about him not bringing straws to my co-workers and me with only ice. We make tea and sometimes drink juice and we need only a cup of ice. He has been on top of bringing my straws as well as co-workers too. I appreciate him for doing this and wanted to give him 5 star rating. That was the only compliment I had with him. Everything else he has done has been great! He is the best at great customer service, being courteous, pleasant and positive attitude. Thank you Paul for doing a terrific job. I know you work hard which is rare these days. You are awsome!!!

Normally I visit the Sonic restaurants closer to home. By chance I was able to visit this location. Squeaky clean, quick service, and the rare perfect order. Well worth the quick stop for a bite or well-made drink. Looking forward to my next visit!

I would highly recommend going to ANY other Sonic. Neither the food employees aren’t worth the dirt on the bottom of your shoes. Would give no stars if that was an option.

I walked over to this Sonic twice today. First was no issue. On the second, I ordered just a drink on the app and went to check in, but got an app error that said use the red call button.
Upon pressing the button, I got a very unpleasant “we can’t help you, our system is down”. I explained I had already ordered and paid, which caused the voice to protest she couldn’t tell what I had ordered tho. I explained it was just a drink and I had the receipt.
No dice. Maybe the system would be back up in 15 mins, after two days of malfunctioning. So wait 15 mins and she would see.
Again trying to explain I could show her the receipt and Sonic had already charged me – she explained that if she helped me, she would have to help others too – oh my real great approach.

This sonic is absolutely garbage and the management is extremely rude manager girl “Sara” or whatever her name was started to cuss at me bc she did her job wrong and I said something about it she kept hanging up the intercom while I was talking and then told me to leave and that they weren’t going to help me bc they weren’t going to remake the order that they handed out to the wrong person

I love the ice and tea from Sonic especially during their happy hours from 2-4pm when drinks are half price. Don’t have to worry about going in, just order from your vehicle. Please tip, the summer here in Texas pretty brutal.

This review is really just to show how well put together the hot dog was. The visible stains are just me dropping some of the toppings . Other Sonic locations have been almost careless in making the coney and just putting too much on there making it a messy eat. I got a chili cheese coney with ketchup, mustard and relish so yea it can get messy. The taste is always the same regardless of the location, but I’m not a messy eater, and I’m glad this coney was made in a way that it wouldn’t get messy, with literally just the right amount of everything. Props to whoever made this! Shoutout to Elyssa too, the person who brought it out to me in record time.

Please ignore my review from a month ago it was meant for the Sonic on Cooper Street. Now I’m doing it correctly for Sonic on Matlock food is always good and hot, orders are always correct, food is done in a reasonable amount of time so no waiting around and good customer service never know attitude I have attached a picture below because their drinks are always good and not watered down well you can tell by the bright color if you know it’s good or not unlike the Sonic that’s on South Cooper where you can tell its water down because you can barely see any blue in it. This drink is called a blue raspberry with nerds again Sonic on Matlock is a good place to go we now go there we don’t go to the one on Cooper any longer thank you Sonic
