Pinocchio’s Pizza & Subs is an absolute favorite! The pizza is delicious — perfectly cheesy with just the right amount of sauce and crust that’s crispy on the outside and soft inside. Every slice feels satisfying and full of flavor.
The subs are fantastic too — hearty, fresh, and packed with great ingredients. From classic Italian subs to specialty options, each sandwich is made with care and tastes amazing. The portion sizes are generous, making it totally worth it.
What really makes Pinocchio’s stand out is the friendly and welcoming service. Whether you’re ordering in person or picking up to go, the staff make you feel appreciated and happy to be there.
Great food, great vibes, and a spot you’ll want to return to again and again. Highly recommend!

In my quest for the best Sicilian pizza around, we tried Pinocchios last night. Excellent! Garlic fueled, crispy bottom, full of flavor. I’ll be back

Pinocchio’s Pizza is a well known pizza shop located near Harvard Square, serving both regular pizza and Sicilian style pizza.

The place was crowded when we got in, but we got our pizza in a few minutes. It did take a while to get a pie, so we opted to go for slices instead. The pizza can get expensive compared to other places.

The Sicilian pizza was alright, it had a good flavor but we felt was light on the sauce and more doughy than we expected. This could be a personal preference however, as I prefer pizzas thinner. The regular slices were good, and had a nice flavor to them as well.

A true hole-in-the-wall gem near Harvard Square! You can watch them make the pizzas right in front of you – no frills, no fuss, just solid, old-school pizza done right.
We tried the cheese slice and the tomato basil, and both were fantastic – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crisp. The vibe is unpretentious and cozy in that classic college-town way.
Definitely planning to come back next time I’m around Harvard Square!

Don’t get me wrong, the pizza delicious. So just stick with their pizza. The subs on the other hand, not so good. I paid around $16 for a ham and chesse sub(with a bag of chips) and had ONLY 2 pieces of ham. It was basically just condiments, chesse, and bread.

What is the hype about? Got a pre-made square partially warmed up without any flavor..see pictures for the amount of seasoning I added.
There are better pizzas out there…try Dirty water dough company in newbury
And the place is unclean, had a fly meandering around my pizza

Great pizza in a quick serve casual setting. They have pre made Sicilian slices with a variety and f.toppings and great prices. Tucked back from the main street this is a hidden local spot with minimal seating but great for lunch or a late night snack.

Awesome, old-school pizza! They use real cheese and the sauce compliments the pie. It doesn’t overwhelm it like many other places. We drove an hour to get there, then drove around Harvard Square for 15 minutes looking for a parking space. It was well worth it though! To make it even better, when one of the employees asked me if I’ve ever tried their Sicilian pizza (my family had ordered their thin dough) to which I replied no, he gave me a free slice of their spinach Sicilian pie! How cool is that? A great act of kindness rarely seen these days! This is my new fave in Boston and I’ll be making many more trips!

Had the plain cheese, the BBQ chicken, and the honey garlic chicken Sicilian slices. All were very good, honestly probably enjoyed the two chicken slices the most. The dough is light while still maintaining crunch, and there’s a good amount of sauce and cheese. Seemed a little stale, so I’m looking to order a full pie from here at some point. Otherwise very good place, nice ambience
