If you are looking for an incredible meal on Bainbridge Island, Bruciato is an absolute must-visit. I recently stopped in with the family, and even though the restaurant was very busy and bustling, the experience was well-worth the wait for a table. The energy of the place is fantastic, but what truly stood out right away was the service. Despite the crowd, the staff remained friendly and exceptionally efficient, making us feel welcome and well-taken-care-of from the moment we arrived.

The food, however, was the real star of the show. The pizza was simply to-die-for. You can tell they put a lot of care into the craft, resulting in a perfect crust and fresh, vibrant flavors that live up to the hype. It is easily some of the best pizza we have had in a long time. Even the kids were impressed; they absolutely loved their pizzas as well, which made for a very successful family dinner.

The entire atmosphere makes you want to linger and soak in the vibe of the island. It is the kind of local spot that leaves a lasting impression and makes a trip to Bainbridge feel complete. We had such a great time that I am already trying to find a way to come back soon. Whether you are a local or just visiting, I highly recommend Bruciato for anyone who appreciates great food and top-tier service.

Festive place, good for a large party or cocktails for two. The pizzas are fantastic and the cocktails are excellent.

A party of two works better at the bar than at the table because of the noise – you can only reliably hear people in a three foot radius.

Be prepared to wait a bit during busy hours.

The place is definitely a must visit for people who live pizzas. Really awesome ones with thin enough crust, you can really have two whole pizzas, they are really so good. Service was great as well. The place has dim lights but definitely the best comfy atmosphere.

Was at the island for a day and stopped by for a bite. It was Friday afternoon and it was super busy but the service was impeccable, got a table within minutes of walking in and ordered 2 pizzas and got them very quickly! The staff are nice and attentive. These were the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my whole entire life 10/10 would eat again forever 🙂

Went there on a sunny day and the seating was perfect, next to the window! Tried the roasted seasonal vegetables and got a plate of charred broccoli, cauliflower, radish with lemon herb seasoning. While the dish was tasty, it was a small portion for the price. Tried the margarita pizza which was cooked well but marinara was too watery so the pizza was a bit soggy.

Four of us shared two pizzas, one with prosciutto and a couple of cheeses, one with mushrooms and a couple of cheeses. (The cheeses were VERY good, but I don’t remember their names.) Three of us had a drink: one wine and two ciders. The food was delicious, and the servers were attentive.

I told the waiter how we had gone to a restaurant years ago that gave each table a pot of honey to dip the crusts in for dessert. He said, “We can do that.” So we had honeyed crusts for dessert. I confess, I was surprised to be charged for it. I think of honey as a condiment, like sugar or ketchup. And to offer it and not warn us seemed odd.

But I gave the 4 because of the price overall. Our two pizzas were $27 each. With the the drinks (and $3 for the honey!), tax, and tip, the total came to more than double the cost of the pizzas. Which blew my mind. It still does.

Pizza was some of the best!! Our waiter was top notch and the atmosphere was very cool!! We got the Margherita, the prosciutto codo and the Americana, all great! We arrived right as it opened on a Saturday and got right in, but it filled up quick!! Not sure if that is typical or not but just fyi… our server was Geoffrey and he was amazing!!!

Pizza overall is pretty darn good with lots of options. Unless you speak Italian, you’ll likely have to Google some of the ingredients which isn’t such a big deal.
We had five different pizzas and I would say the pizzas are thin making it difficult to eat. The toppings are very good, but given how thin the cross was created, it made all of the pizzas challenging to eat so much so that we had to abandon our hands and use forks.
It also seemed a bit gimmicky that they don’t cut your pizzas, but give you pizza scissors.

The Pizza here is excellent. The best we have had in Washington (and, yes, we have enjoyed Cornelly’s very much). The toppings are so original and the combinations are perfect. Cocktails are very well prepared and service is fast and friendly. We have loved this place for years, recommend it and keep coming back. If you can appreciate good dough, fresh toppings and well done cocktails, then Bruciato is your place.

Friendly wait staff and hostess far beyond what you get on the mainland. Hostess actually noticed our table was wobbly and brought a triangle wedge to fix it. Pizza was mind blowing good. Softest crust while being crispy. Might actually dethrone Serious Pie as best pizza ever. Meatballs were so tender and probably the best I’ve ever had.
