Popeyes Cajun gravy was honestly gross. It was thin, watery, and way too soupy, with almost no gravy texture at all. The flavor was even worse — it tasted like bean soup broth, not Cajun gravy. Instead of rich or savory, it was bland and odd, Definitely not worth ordering again.

We showed up a little bit before they opened and were about to leave when one of the employees invited us in and encouraged us to stay. She opened the doors and welcomed us and made sure that we didn’t feel like we were imposing on them because we were early. I really appreciated her care and thoughtfulness and the food was fresh and delicious.

Overall, I enjoy Popeyes because their blackened chicken tenders are pretty tasty and have a good amount of flavor. A little spicy, but I am also a wimp when it comes to spice. The tenders are usually juicy and not dry at all. My husband likes their spicy chicken, which we usually order but they often give us the regular chicken.

The service is usually a little slow and I know that if there are more than a couple of cars in the drive-thru, it will take forever to get our food. The workers usually aren’t that friendly. Would we go back? Yes….but it also depends on how busy they are.

This is my favorite chicken restaurant ever. I absolutely love their plain chicken sandwiches. The service at the particular one that I go to in West Jordan is not the greatest. Sometimes it seems that everybody’s a little scattered behind the counter and in the kitchen area of the restaurant. But the food is so good that I don’t pay attention to the atmosphere and the service that are absolutely needing to be tightened up. I don’t know though I’ve never worked in fast food. Maybe I’m being too harsh. But the chicken is really good. I recommend going there and checking it out. Way better than KFC.

Why do they forget the biscuit every single freaking time. It’s crazy. They can’t understand your order and you have to go back and forth several times before it’s right and then they forget the biscuit every single time. The last time I went back the guy working argued with me that the sandwich combo doesn’t come with one. Cool, I never get a sandwich combo. I get the tenders which DOES come with one and had to show him my receipt and explain that. They need better workers asap.

Edit: just got home, tenders aren’t spicy like I told her 3 times as well. Man, this place struggles and I think this is finally my last time eating here.

I’m reaching out to express my disappointment with our recent order. The chicken we received was completely overcooked, dry, and flavorless. It tasted more like oil than anything else, and it was obvious the chicken had been cooked, left to cool, and then reheated or thrown back in the fryer.

As soon as we picked it up, it started falling apart—it was that dry and overdone. The color was dark, the meat wasn’t juicy, and the entire meal was just unpleasant to eat. It honestly felt like no care was put into preparing this food.

We work long, hard days and because we don’t always have time to cook we pick up meals. We expect the same quality and care that anyone dining in would receive. Unfortunately, this meal missed the mark completely.

Very disappointed and hope this feedback is taken seriously.

They kept my credit card for the second time. I drove home, which is 25 minutes away and I have very bad flu. Now I have to drive all the way back to get my card. This is getting ridiculous. Now my information is exposed to potential fraud. You’re never supposed to take someone’s card and hold on to it. You swipe it and hand it back. Fries were cold and soggy. When I called about my card, the lady hung up on me and she could barely understand anything I was saying, so rather than putting someone on who could, she decided just to hang up on me. I should have remembered myself but when they’re handing me bags of food, sauce, and drinks, I forgot about it. But it’s on them to return a customers card after charging it.

Man taking order at drive thru was a big help especially when ordering certain foods (wings) for the first.

Very patient in guiding me on menu and what sauces were offered for the chicken. Appreciate this young man.

He even did a great job offering pies to try. I wasn’t going to but ended up ordering two different kinds. So yummy!!!

I usually don’t test a food website rating of eateries. This one caught my eye with which chicken sandwich was better out of Chick-file, Wendy’s, KFC, Popeyes, or McDonald’s.
The only one I had never tried was Popeyes. And they rated it the best. Sooooooooo, off I went to Popeyes. Actually, I wound up having to go to 2 of them. The first one in West Valley, was ummmm a joke (Sorry Popeyes) after the broken English lady said one moment, 5 minutes passed , until I said,”Are you still there” she said one moment please with no explanation of why. Sooooo I simply drove through and went to one further down the road. I had no idea there were so many Popeyes @.@.
Anyway (sorry for the rant), I went to this one in South Jordan. Things did not go smooth there either, lol. Got right up to the drive-through and got to the window and was told there was a 5 minute wait for sandwiches. No worries, right, I already had a wait just to order at the first one. Well, 10 minutes later, we got our food, classic chicken sandwich meal for me, and chicken tenders for my boss. Oh, sorry, my wife.. hehehe.
Okay, okay, the results are in.
The chicken sandwich was actually a winner, winner, chicken dinner, no sandwich. The crunch on the chicken breast was spot on. The bread was fresh (after 10 minute wait I was expecting that :-). The fires were also tasty, so after all of that, I will be back (to a different store) to have another one. The tenders were also very tasty. Recommended

Worker hands me mobile order knowing it didn’t have items we paid for in the bag. When I went back and asked him about it he said they don’t make jalapeño poppers anymore and to call customer service for a refund like I was troubling him for even asking. He didn’t tell me before hand, and I sensed he was hoping I didn’t notice missing item. It’d be nice to get things we paid for, that’s generally how business works.
