First day at Brussels tried this Indian veg spot and would say its a good veg restaurant which has been maintained well and clean with multiple veg dishes on the menu at agreeable cost for central area. The Thali was for €15 and was unlimited with variety of salads, starters and main dishes. The starters were samosa and potata bajii and main menu contained some kulcha, mushroom matter, aloo baigan, rajma and chole with plain and aromatic rice. The mains were honestly ok with low spice level. Would expected to see some consistency in the food but chole wasn’t upto the mark. The samosa were good as well the pappad provided. The dessert was gulab jamun which was warm and good. The salads were neatly arranged with all the necessary condiments and was at perfect cold. The starters samosa and potatos were bit oily maybe as it was left on the heat stove for long but still taste was very good. We also tried mango lassi and rooh afza as drink which was again not upto the mark. Would definitely give a shot if there is a second time to see how well they improve the taste.

I first visited Pure Veg India in June 2025 and visited again recently, and I am happy to say the quality and taste have remained consistently excellent. The food is home-made, flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The staff is really friendly.

A lovely surprise at the end of the meal was the complimentary tea and a home-baked cookie. It truly felt like a comforting and homely end to the meal.

I’ve noticed some recent negative reviews mentioning that the dosa was of poor quality of which seems to be fake. As far as my knowledge is concerned the restaurant doesn’t serve south indian cuisine rather it offers a wider pure vegetarian Indian menu, and the food is well executed for what they serve.

Overall, I had a great experience both times and would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for good vegetarian Indian food in Brussels. I personally enjoyed mixed dal, chole and gulab jamun the most….

I came looking at the rating and for street food. It’s a below average eatery. Cheap. I think the high rating is because they offer unlimited buffet for only 15 euros. I didn’t take the buffet, I took the Chole bature and Tikkie Chaat. The Tikkie Chaat was disaster, wastage of almost 10 euros, it was not at all fresh, looked and tasted like just heated up tikkies from previous day, added the same Chole of Chole bhature and the tamarind chutney tasted weird. I didn’t think it was safe to eat it after taking a bite. The Chole bature was okay! Nothing great.
May be for cheap food it’s good ( though I have no idea of the food quality in the buffet) , but if you are craving for Indian Street Food this is definitely not the place. Not coming back and not recommending at all

This restaurant is purely vegetarian and offers a full thali for only 15 euros. The food tastes very authentic with great salad options and sweet choices. The staff members are very helpful. The restaurant is located very close to Brussels Central Station.

Food is good, in lunch they serve buffet for per person. Curry was good but Roti and Naan were the frozen one, which is totally not good.

Excellent vegetarian thali for €14.95. Fresh food with everything included — sweets, salads, four curries, roti, rice, and more. Great value for money and very satisfying.

Absolutely incredible. I don’t think anyone should bother with other Indian restaurants. As close to home food as one can find. The very affordable buffet has plenty of options for you to have a well-balanced meal.

We visited the place after seeing such good reviews but were pretty disappointed.

Food : Starters like Samosas, Pakodas and Chutneys were really good. Mains were average, rice was still cold.

Ambience : It’s not more like restaurants but more like cafeteria style, plates are cafeteria like and small. You get your own food and after eating have to also put the plates back to a tray.

Buffet: I think good reviews are due to the 14.95€ all you can eat buffet. It’s value for money. Not super tasty but more homely.

We visited during rush hour 7:30PM, the salad bar and dessert was almost empty and they didn’t refill it till the closure, which was really surprising. The mains were refilled constantly though. We couldn’t eat the salads and desserts and I didn’t ask again to avoid problems.

Courtesy: The owner or staff whoever it is lacks basics courtesy. No greetings at all. You find yourself a place to sit. When we asked when they’ll refill sometime, received rude response that first finish what is in plate.

The lady seemed very tired and agitated often making rude comments like have patience, eat first what is there etc.

Hygiene: Place and bathroom is clean. But we found same person cleaning the table, picking and washing plate and then handling the food with same gloves without washing or changing.

I will visit the place again though but with minimal expectation to just eat what is there.

I’ve been wanting to go for a long time and glad I finally came around to it! For €15 you have an unlimited thali buffet including saag paneer, samosas, rice, and plenty of other choices. Very friendly staff + what seemed to be family-run. Food tastes homemade, aromatic and is regularly refilled. Friendly crowd too (don’t judge my thali plate in picture please, I know it’s chaotic)
