This is a great waterfront spot.
We were staying in Sevierville and wanted to have a nice dinner outside of the hustle and bustle of pigeon forge.
We did some research and found Amgelos.
The spot is beautiful with great views of the water. We sat outside and were seated promptly.
The service was very good and the food was great as was the wine !
The price for a dinner for 2 with drinks, appetizers and entrees were great.
There was one drawback that I will mention.
It seems like the bar is a big hangout for the locals who arrive on these gators that are made to be obnoxious with loud music and neon lights.
There were a few that were more obnoxious than others and you add in the fact that they were intox made it annoying and took away from the serenity of the evening.
Besides that it’s a great place and it’s worth going for dinner.

A beautiful evening at Angelo’s’ at the Point on Douglas Lake. Beautiful view of the lake. Great food and great service. The French onion soup was so good with all the gooey cheese and went great with the fried haddock tacos. I was stuffed. My daughter got the cheeseburger and fries. My husband ordered the cream crab soup and couldn’t stop raving about it. He followed that up with the haddock and shrimp in a tomato cream sauce. My son ordered the cheeseburger and onion rings. Great taste and a lot of food. You can eat good food on the beautiful lake any time because they are open year round.

Angelos’ at the Point was absolutely amazing! The beautiful scenery and great atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. Our food was fantastic, especially the steak medallions, and the asparagus was cooked just right. The bartender and her family were friendly and engaging, making great conversation. Highly recommend!

This was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. We had reservations at 7:30. We were running late because we aren’t from here and misjudged the distance. Tried to call multiple times and noone answered. Walked in at 7:40 and the hostess said it would be a 45 min wait yet the ENTIRE restaurant was empty (see pics). I said “even though we have a reservation and the restaurant is empty” and she said, fine I’ll seat you. We ordered pork belly appetizer (which was cold and raw, not charred as described) and fried avocado (which tasted like really old nasty grease). I ordered a wedge salad with grilled chicken bites and ranch. I was brought fried chicken and blue cheese dressing. I’m on a keto diet so I could not eat the fried chicken. It was $110 dollars for our very small portioned meals (see pics) that was terrible quality. No wonder it has a poor rating. It’s in a beautiful location. Too bad they can’t get the food and service on point. Very disappointing! Also the prices on our bill were $3+ more than on the menu. I feel bad that the hostess is turning people away when the staff were standing around bored. I don’t see how this place survives.

We had an amazing experience at Angelos’ at the Point!

The lake view from the patio is absolutely breathtaking – we watched boats pass by while enjoying our dinner under bright red umbrellas. The oysters and calamari were perfectly fresh, and we also tried the lamb, which was tender and full of flavor.

What made it even more special was the peaceful vibe right by the water – we even spotted a heron walking along the shoreline while we ate. The staff was friendly and let us take our time to enjoy the sunset.

If you want a relaxing evening with great food and a view that feels like a vacation, this is the spot!

The point never disappoints. The steak tips were so tender and juicy. I love that the bar is separate from the dining room, it helps keep the noise down so you can hear your date. I love eating on the deck in warmer weather and I got a pomegranate mojito there once that I still can taste, it was divine!

Beautiful views and we had a great BBQ chicken pizza (just could have used a little more cheese on it). We also had the pork belly tips which we’ve never tried before, and they were great also. Waitress was very friendly and took great care of us even though she was the only one working that evening.

Wait for food was a bit long, but nothing outrageous. We ate outside during the evening, the view of the lake was nice. Food was good, although husband was upset his medium rare ribeye was well done and potatoes were cold. Fried mushrooms were good. I had the fish and chips which were also good.

We had a good experience at Angelo’s. The view, obviously, is wonderful and serene. There’s a little walkway you can take to enjoy the scenes. If i were warmer out i would have loved to sit on the patio and enjoyed drinks & food but it was a little too chilly for me to be comfortable outside. As far as food goes .. I got the chicken gyro & my husband got the fried fish tacos. The gyro was packed with a ton of chicken red onions & tomato. The tzatziki sauce had a nice flavor, especially on the gyro itself. My husband really enjoyed the fish tacos .. he did have to remove some of the slaw that came on top but he’s not a huge fan of slaw in general. Our waitress was bubbly and attentive, no complaints here.
