Apparently we were there during a local power outage and half the town was there. Ive never seen more to-go orders in my life. Took us nearly an hour to get our food but it was not for a lack of effort. The servers and the kitchen were working at light speed!
This is a cool old school diner vibe with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. A neighbor told me that the hamburgers were really good so I was going with one of those but I spied a Chuck Wagon on the menu and I’m just a sucker for a Chuck Wagon. It was good but I would go with something else next time. I saw some people eating beans that came in a huge bowl that looked amazing. Both my dining partners both had hamburgers and onion rings and they said they were good. These same two ladies also got a couple slices of pie to go and the pie looked good. Everything was hot and tasty and our server was great.

We stopped by while in the area to play in the snow. Food was great and sweet little waitress. We had chili with a sandwich, burger, fries, scrambled egg and toast, and a pancake for kiddo. Waitress asked if she wanted it mickey shaped! Burger tasted like hand pattied meat. Would def visit again!

Excellent place to grab lunch. I had the ham.club with fries and also the fried chicken dinner. Both were excellent. The value I’d great. Highly recommend if you are in the area give it a shot.

After reading reviews we thought for sure we found a good spot. How wrong we were.
I ordered the scotty sandwich. It really was nothing more than toast with a dry piece of chicken and melted cheese.
When we ordered the sandwich, the waitress said fries or onion rings so we assumed it came with it. Wrong again, $4 extra. There is also a sign on the wall saying prices Menu prices maybe different due to rising food costs. So we were surprised to get a bill for $36 for two sandwiches. The bill had no prices just the total. The waitress who was nice saw me looking up through menu prices on Google and said yea the prices aren’t right on there either.
The restroom, I went to wash my hands and the faucet was running with no way to shut it off.
For dinner obviously we didn’t go back there but found another place called cj Maggie’s where we got homemade pastas, fresh bread and ice cream for $38. And their prices actually matched the menu.

As an out of towner, this place hit the spot! Great food, friendly service, and homey feel to the place. Fresh coffee on a cold day and homemade buscuits. No complaints. Nothing bad to say. Would definitely go back and highly recommend checking it out.

The serving sizes are enormous for the price, if you’re looking for a lot of food you will find it here. The grits we had were not fully cooked and the biscuits were rather dry. The gravy was pretty good though and coffee was great
