If you’re looking for inclusive eats in Spokane, Cascadia Public House is truly one of the best restaurants in the city. Cascadia is incredibly dietary-restriction friendly, with thoughtful options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy-aware diners, without ever sacrificing flavor or creativity. It’s one of those places where everyone at the table can find something they genuinely love.

Beyond the food, the service at Cascadia is always exceptional warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. You can feel that the staff cares, and that energy comes directly from the owners, who clearly pour their heart into everything they do, from the menu to the atmosphere to the community they’re building.

Their sister restaurant, Kindred Public House, is just as amazing, offering a different but equally elevated dining experience, proof that this team truly understands hospitality and intentional dining in Spokane.

Whether you’re a local or visiting, Cascadia Public House is a must-visit if you want thoughtful food, inclusive dining, and outstanding service in Spokane. Highly recommend for date nights, group dinners, or anyone with dietary needs who wants to feel fully included.

Holy Vegan chopped Cheesesteak. First off big huge KUDOS for having such a LARGE selection of vegan and vegetarian options. As a retired vegan chef and restaurateur, the flavor profiles on the West Coast Philly (veganized) were stand up and applaudable. It wasn’t 100 percent homemade, but it sure tasted like it. If you are or are not vegan RUN to Cascadia Public House you WILL NOT be disappointed. I will be returning to try more of the menu. Thank you again for the great food.

The pretzels with the mustard cheese sounds odd but it is actually delicious. The Hot Honey chicken sandwich is great. Little spice lots of flavor!

The food is delicious! Well balanced with bold and diverse flavors. I’ve lived all around the world and the states but the blackberry Brie burger is the best burger I’ve had. My mother loves the oregenzola steak salad and I had the pleasure of finishing it for her. Delicious! Must try restaurant!

I went here today because it’s a gluten-free friendly restaurant, and those aren’t easy to find. At about 2pm on a Tuesday it wasn’t busy and I was served promptly.

The atmosphere is kinda barebones, a couple tvs above the bar but that’s really it. I was by myself, but the music volume was such that I don’t think it would be easy to have a conversation with a friend. The space is pretty small and the acoustics feel too “heavy” in that space. Maybe it’s the speaker setup.

I asked for burger recommendations, and I settled on this burger that had whole raspberry berries on it. Maybe I am uncultured in the gastropub scene, but that was one of the most jarring sensations I’ve ever had in a meal. And the upgraded garlic fries were pretty mid- just drizzled with garlic sauce that didn’t have much flavor.

All together though, I paid around $25-ish for a meal that wasn’t…bad, but was not something I wish I had eaten, nor would I recommend.

I don’t think health code forbids raspberries on burgers, but maybe, for sake of American palettes, it should.

Stopped in for a quick dinner while we were in town and we had a great time. The cauliflower wings were amazing, we got both sauces on the side and everyone was very happy. Dinners ranged from Steak and Fries (fantastic) to Mac and cheese (also great), chicken sandwich (7/5) and a BLTA which my daughter said was “mind-blowing”.

Service was also great with attentive staff and drinks were run over from the bar quickly by the bartenders. The only real negative was the noise level, which subsided as the evening went on but was pretty loud when we first got there.

Overall we were all very happy with the whole experience and would definitely drop in for another opportunity to eat here.

Food was amazing for a kid and a picky vegetarian. Loved the salad and fried avacado tacos. We were so full when we left. Loud but my kiddo loved trivia going on. Wish it was a chain all over the U.S.

Edit :Original visit was 5 stars accords the board. Recently I decided to go back to cascades and take my husband with me. I am extremely disappointed in the change from 5 star service to me walking out with not even getting served. I arrived shortly after open , walked in the doors, music is blaring no one is in the bar but we can see staff in the kitchen area so we seat our selves in the dining area, we wait, having made eye contact multiple times with the guy at the grill , thinking at one point he goes in the back for a minute to let someone know there is customer… more minutes pass. Still nothing, I get up I walk into the bar area and there is a gal now begins the bar but she has he head down and is slumped over the bar on her phone not paying attention, I signal to my husband what is going on and we are talking in an audible sound yet nothing, at this point I point out the I not have a headache from the loud music and we should leave since no one seems to care to do there job. I later go on to see reviews that the place has really started to go down hill in its service. We won’t return.

Original post: I was searching online for a nice place to go for Fathers day Lunch. We have 1 person with a Milk allergy, and 1 person who cant have gluten or dairy. So when this place popped up and i saw the menu, i was pretty excited, seeing as i am the milk allergy. Happy hour appetizers where delicious ( the vegan queso i could have ate like soup) the pretzels are amazing, chips and salsa, then we all had different main courses, we had one fried/ crispy chicken sandwich that looked spectacular, we had a basic cheese burger ( with vegan cheese on lettuce) they have gluten free buns but she prefers no bun, then we had the Cascadia burger with the garlic fries, and finally the blue cheese burger sub for vegan FYH blue cheese and garlic fries, a dessert of lemon cheese cake with a huckleberry sauce ( that only had to bites eaten but was declared refreshing) a couple scoops of vegan icecream shared, and a scoop of regular icecream. All in all the meal was pretty tasty and we all were planning what we wanted next. Dare we say at least a couple of us are thinking the Vegan Mac.

Huge thanks to Kwama for knowing the ingredients and what was safe for me to eat. We came from out of town and will definitely be returning!
