In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. I would give zero stars if I could. Never seen a taco location out of Pico de gallo, jalapeño, and take out containers. Order faily box. Did not get any toppings I asked for. Drive thru help doesn’t listen. Can’t even enter an order right.

I ordered 2 nachos salads. No tomatoes, no meat at all!!! They had no Pico. Both of thr salads are 95% chips. Awful!! I tried to call and thr phonenis just busy for less than 10 seconds and cuts off. No way of letting them know. I will not be returning. Its only 7:30pm. No reason for this.

This place has gone through several managers or something. It has changed quite a bit over the past few years. This particular time, you could tell they were very short staffed. The ladies in the back were friendly but the gentleman working the drive-thru as well as the counter up front, you could tell that he was having a difficult day. My guess would be because he was short staffed. All in all, food is always great at Taco Bueno.

Came through the drive-thru at 12:45 pm, ordered, got to the window to pay, and the big older guy with glasses (mentioned in at least 3 other reviews that I read) wouldn’t take my money. He said if he gave me change it would clear him out. At lunch time, he couldn’t make $35 in change. He said well people just don’t use cash anymore. He was canceling my order before I even decided whether I wanted to give him my card. So needless to say, I took my business elsewhere.

He has zero customer service skills, talks at the speaker like it’s an inconvenience that you’re there, doesn’t take your order correctly, and is beyond rude when you’re at the window. No “here you are, have a good day, thank you, or you’re welcome.”
And he gives you 5-7 salsas with your order regardless if you ask for it or not. Other than that the food is actually decent.

I truly loved our dinner there last night was our first time in and the customer service there was phenomenal londell thank you so very much for keeping such a tidy place and yes we agree with him clean up after your self these people have better things to to then pick up after you it’s just rude to leave a huge mess behind love your signs people should act better than that

The restaurant needs repairs and the overall cleanliness wasn’t where a restaurant should be. Service was one person trying to run the counter and the drive thru so you wait to be served while they handle the drive thru. The food was ok, but not as good as other Taco Bueno’s we had been to in the past.

Absolutely disgusting…. And I don’t just mean the food…. Though I couldn’t even finish my meal because it wasn’t even a bit warm and taste disgusting and don’t let me forget to mention soggy… the atmosphere was muggy, musty, and moldy… The people who work here CANNOT be proud to work here…. And whoever owns this place should have there business license revoked… I sat and watched other people pigging out while sitting around black mold and walls that are caving in due to water damage… They either don’t care or live just as horrible…

Stopped by on Tuesday 28 October during the day and had the worst experience. The guy working the drive thru was so rude. My order was also wrong. My tacos were wrong and my cheesecake bites were missing the raspberry sauce instead I was given extra taco sauce that was probably mistaken for raspberry sauce.
