Liz was AMAZING! From the moment I sat down, she was so friendly, upbeat, and attentive. She made my lunch at Deli Planet such a great experience. She checked in just the right amount, made sure everything was perfect, and had such a warm, positive attitude the entire time. My sandwich was delicious, and Liz’s service honestly took it to the next level. She’s the kind of server that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend asking for her!

I am often asked, “What is your favorite restaurant in (Wichita Falls)?”
I generally hesitate with the answer, as I ponder that question and answer. I usually answer with one or two I’m frequenting more often in the current time period.
When it comes down to it, I can solidly say Deli Planet is in the permanent Top Three. This year, I have been dining with Deli Planet for 40 years. Now with that being said, Deli Planet is truly my number one. I have eaten with no other that long (in the Falls). First as ‘Subs n Subs’ then Deli Planet. The consistent thing has been Eric Rutledge. He’s been serving me since my first visit in 1986. Bob did an awesome job with hiring this guy.
All the employees over the years have been fantastic and have always treated me like family. Always greeted with hugs and smiles.
The one big change in all the years that turned this place into a powerhouse business is when Eric married Becca and this true power couple became one. Legends in the local restaurant business!
The food always top-notch and very consistent from visit to visit. The place is always clean. All the employees seem to really enjoy their working here, which translate to a great atmosphere.
I really love dining here and reflect back fondly on all that have crossed my path while dining here. Especially when I think back to all those that this place gave me a permanent friend like Samantha Ellis. Of course the whole of the Rutledge family is included in that, as they have all worked here at one time or another.

The server is always so nice. The food is amazing. Its affordable and doesnt compromise on quality. Their salad reminds me of those pizzeria salads, its sooo good. My husband and I love coming here for lunch dates, our new favorite spot!

I have eaten at many sandwich spots. Deli planet has by far been my best experience yet. Liz took my order and was helpful from beginning to end. I had never eaten here before and she made me feel like family. I will now come here only because of the customer experience I experienced today.

If you’re not eating at Deli Planet! Then what are YOU DOING???? Get there… don’t WALK RUNNN to this location and order! I seen a picture from a friend of mine…. And found out they sell philly’s.. I’m an east coast native so when I see Philly on the menu… I gotta try it for myself… service amazing atmosphere gives east coast vibes… FOOD SPECTACULAR!!! I have found a new favorite spot!

I love coming to this place, one of my favorite spots, but today’s experience really just made me not want to ever go back…..I witnessed what I assume the owner be rude to a FedEx delivery guy, she humiliated him infront of everyone and he was a sweet guy, you could see he was a bit surprised by her attitude towards him. The lady’s behavior was absolutely disgusting, one of the workers apologized to him for the lady’s outburst. Im absolutely disgusted with what I witnessed and will not be coming back. Edit: stressful situation or not, you cannot be taking out your frustrations out on people who are also doing their job…
